Does anyone have any idea how this story is gonna end? Absolutely mad situation we’re in. Gonna be nervous as hell watching the game this Saturday. Performance in the pitch is the only area we have control over. Lost all trust in the ownership!

Oh well, could have been worse

Fine if that's your immediate reaction to the news but don't forget this is a new low for this football club.

It’s insane they told us to sell more in 2024 and we spent circa £40m net. Ffs.

It’s astonishing they think this is harsh. Top is genuinely very stupid and Rudkin is staggeringly incompetent

They cannot believe this is harsh.  They certainly believe the league should not tell them what to do with their money.

We have a weird situation where the board is completely complicit in the outcome, so who hold who responsible?  Useless governance.

We’re definitely going down.

There’s no fight in this team.

let’s see if the new signings  make a difference before we jump to that conclusion

We spent £17m on Winks and Coady ffs when we knew the finances were stretched. Probably a £35m total cost between them

It was a gamble which actually worked, though Coady had little to do with the promotion.

New players, new manager, fear and a them and us mentality.  If that doesn't elicit a reaction nothing will.

I have a feeling we breach again next season. It’s going to get worse before it gets better

Yes quite likely I would say.  However I do think we will stay in the Championship for both those seasons and at least get the chance to rebuild.  Now to find a competent manager to lead it.

A truly shameful day in the history of our once great football club. Ultimately, 6 points is survivable and I think we will stay up although things will get worse before they get better on the pitch. Tough fixtures coming up.

And now we are back to the true Leicester. All my life we have either been in a promotion or relegation scrap, it is rarely dull and so much better than dull mid table mediocrity. I glad the points deduction case has ended. Players now have something to fight for, fans now have something to shout for. Lets give Kingy the support he desperately needs and not let him stand alone.

No. Because the way you say it is like no one had any control or say in how this has happened. They squandered the opportunity to shift the dial from what you’re talking about to being an established PL side - no one expected us to be a permanent top 6 team. But this, and how quick it has happened, is not the norm.

Why? What figures are you basing this on?

We’re going to have spent about £35m, recouped a nominal fee on Coady and Winks will leave on a free. We got promoted in 23/24 but it hasn’t “worked”

Interesting Instagram post by Ricky P (and his post reposted by a few others)

Are they finally waking up?

I was waiting for a post like this:

"Under the current circumstances we've decided to offer our services as footballers on national minimum wage. Foxes never quit".

Instead of the above I can only see "Foxes never quit".
