Assuming this is sarcasm?

The interview was before the points deduction, it's a statement of fact.

If the target was playoffs, that was always unrealistic.

Aiyawatt is genuinely thick isn’t he.

I know there’s a language barrier but he spouts so much shit.

He knew along with everyone else at THAT point we were getting a points deduction, it was only 2ish weeks ago :D. Wake up, he;s been properly exposed for now admitting we're in a relegation battle barely two weeks on!

Let’s make one thing abundantly clear it should not and will not be Gary Rowetts fault if we end up in league one, look no further than Aiyawatt and Rudkin and their -6 contribution

Also Marti Shituetes and his utterly disgraceful performances against some of the weakest sides.

Anyone thinking we will play front foot aggressive style football will be in for a shock. We might do for his first game but be under no illusion that he will be called into a meeting with Rudkin and Top and told under no circumstances to stop that nonsense.

I'm guessing (along with Top's delusions of grandeur that had him living in Enzo's answer machine for a few weeks) that this conflict was the reason for such a long delay.

I'm assuming the penny has finally dropped somewhat and he will be left to do his thing his way until the end of the season, before Top gets to live back in his delusions again for another 6/9 months until relegation begins to luck inevitable again (from which division who knows).

Is it just me who doubts our Chairman actually said any of that?

Genuinely not concerned one bit about relegation with Rowett in.

Our goals scored is higher than Millwall who occupy 5th place. When he was sacked, Oxford had conceded the same amount of goals as us. As much as we love dumping on the squad, there's 100% more talent here than he had there.

I reckon he has us finish somewhere between 10th and 16th. If I want to make an outrageous call, I wouldn't be shocked to see some of the more emotionally extreme fans here will even talk about the possibility of play offs at some points :D

My son and most of my mates are Oxford season ticket holders, the amount of grief ive received in the last 24 hours tells you exactly what they think of him, pragmatic is the politest word i can use to refer to his style but if he can somehow grind out some 0-0's it will be a vast improvement on what we have witnessed in the last 3/4 months

To make up the 14 point gap to finish 10th we would have to win about 11 out of the last 14. That is just not happening to a side who has lost 6 out of the last 7 and has no goalscorer.

We’ve lost 8 out of the last 14. Only 2 teams in the 92 have conceded more than us. We have no goalscorers.

I’ll have what you’re smoking!

He's probably one of Oxfords greatest managers ever considering they're a league 1 or league 2 club in stature and he kept them up when inheriting a dire situation.

mmm bearing in mind they won the old league cup and have been in the top flight a few times id suggest he is a long way down the list, yes he kept them up but also went on long streaks of losing games and when they went behind they had no way of coming back, sound familiar?

We need to get 2 more points than WBA and/or 3 more points than Blackburn over the next 14 games. That is doable and should be easy given the squad apart from the fact that the majority of players seem to have given up. If he can get them motivated to a small extent we could be safe.
