I've always presumed it was a bit of both. Rumours were that Cooper was not hands on at all and coupled with the fact that Cooper didnt play the Maresca way likely meant that the players opinions swayed the club more than it probably should have.

I think Cooper was more of a wet blanket that most realise.

He also played that insane 9 players on the left hand side and JJ having the right to himself.

Cooper requesting Ayew and Skipp should be a simple nah mate, but not for Rudders.

Tbf I think it’s well beyond the manager, what manager seriously could get anything out this hopeless worms?

I think as soon as we are officially relegated  he will walk, given his short term contract hopefully he will politely decline to sign an NDA and forego a very small pay off and come out all bins blazing about what an absolute circus and clown show the club is.

I was thinking about this earlier. Wouldn't the NDA be signed at the start of the contract, knowing it would be so short?

Possibly but I think usually an NDA is negotiated as part of a settlement, we will pay you £x and an NDA is drafted and signed to accompany any severance preventing any disclosure about their departure and any other confidential information either party wishes to remain outside of the public domain

And I hope he does.

Did we sack Marti too soon? Should we have just kept him on?

I was Marti out at the time and no one has a crystal ball, but we mightve well just kept him in hindsight

He should have been kept to end of season, Top made the same mistake 2 seasons in a row.

I was hopeful. Even though Rowett walked into a mess I thought he could keep us up. He seemed straight talking and to the point, I liked him. However the last few games have changed my mind, constant late subs during games and selections I don't agree with (especially the Wednesday game where we should have gone more attacking). I always said we should be going into Portsmouth not necessarily needing points, as the three games over Easter (Preston/Wednesday/Swansea) were winnable and should have been 9 points. Now we have to go to Portsmouth and win against a fanbase that will be rocking and a team that has beaten Middlesbrough and Ipswich back to back.

Not sure why you think we would do that, it doesn't really benefit him does it?

Can’t wait to hear his pre match press conference telling us how all the players are training hard and in his eyes he sees a group who cares. They want to get out of this mess we are in 🥱

If that useless little kid Thomas had not hit the post v Stoke, when he was about 2 feet away, it may all have been different. A win in Rowett's first game may have changed things very much for the better

Ian Holloway won his first game in charge so maybe not.

He's not pulled up any trees but it's doubtful anyone could have come in and done much better with all the crap going on behind the scenes. The whole club is a Clown Cart from top to bottom.

There are genuinely some Leicester fans on Twitter who want us to stick with Rowett when we drop into League 1. Truth is he needed binning at the end of the season even if he kept us up.

Not pulled up any trees is an understatement. We’ve not seen a new manager bounce under Rowett, we’ve seen a new manager thud. Hopefully he’s only got 4 games left at the most.

Can't remember the last time we ever had a *Manager Bounce*?
