I hate to be that person, but im going to be pedantanticly doing this.

He has not made us harder to beat. And he is not better than Marti. There is no stat to suggest either point.

Not that Marti was anything other than sh1t mind you.

He's actually followed an interestingly similar path to Cifuentes in terms of form. Cifuentes seemed to have a lot of draws in his first 10 games then just started losing. That's exactly what's happened with Rowett as well. Although Rowett's only managed the 1 win.

Rowett has offered basically nothing.

I think it fairly obvious we are definitely going to get relegated.

I feel we should start planning for next season niw

No games for those who we are not renewing contract.

King would be ideal for League 1- cheap, loves the club. Can see where we need improvement most.

SO- Rowett on gardening leave, promote Kingy.

Agreed. We didn´t sign a decent replacement for Vardy (we signed Daka) when we had money to spend.

The last 2 windows we´ve had no money and ended up looking for bargain signings in Poundland, with the results that are obvious. The same goes for Cifuentes and Rowett - we appointed them because they were the cheapest options, again with the results that are obvious.

As everyone here has stated many times, the recent lack of money is the result of gross financial mismanagement since summer 2021.

Thing is, with the lack of money that means we need to bring in players that are going to have an impact with what we do have. Meanwhile Jon Rudkin thinks its a good idea to bring in Caranza, Vietes, Richards. Last year we wasted a whole year with Edouard.

We are just grossly incompetent at everything. There is noone in the club with the skill to change anything.

Looks like he was on a downward trend even before he got here. :(

Not to mention 50 games in league 2.

Win percentages are pretty irrelevant for managers that have had long careers. Football moves on and managers that don’t adapt get found out.

A bit like big Sam who has “good win percentages”

I'm not a fan of Rowett at all, but I bet they'll let him go at the end of the season, then spend all summer looking for a replacement and then we'll end up with someone even worse because nobody worth their salt will want to work under this board.

I would give it Fuchs, who has done a great job at Newport. Kingy shown during his caretaker stint he wasn’t ready.

King for ffs...... oversaw 4 games as interim lost them all.  Part of a woeful coaching team where we are bottom for fitness stats, sprints etc, zonal marking crap etc he needs to go along with all the other coaching staff.

Our management recruitment is woeful.

  • This season, Brendan did the impossible and completely messed up at Celtic. Fell out with everyone again because he wanted his own way. Gets bored and starts f4king around, although the ownership there were not willing to bend over and take it. He is now counting his oil money and playing with swords
  • Deano spends his time at Disney World (ok - some place in the US but he's basically retired now from actual football)
  • Cooper is currently messing up at Brondby, ensuring that the best team in the league out there plays terrible football and can barely score
  • Ruud was unemployable anyway, and now washes the kits for the Dutch national team and will be preparing for the inevitable arguments that happen in that team, before eventually doing nothing for the rest of his career
  • Marti was last seen with a nice new pair of trainers on Sky Sports
  • Rowett had been complicit in relegating 2 teams this season. An exceptional achievement

Our problem is we are sh1te at appointing managers and none of them have gone on to prove us wrong.

I've just looked into this. **** me he's absolutely rubbish lol

They won 6-0 at the weekend but before that they'd scored 2 goals in 8 games. 5th in the league with Brondby in a league where Kobenhavn have totally imploded as well.

How on earth is he still in a job. He's absolutely shite.

We need to move away from this love of old players. King has been part of the problem in recent months. We need a fresh start clear the lot

We don't know if King is any good or not.

A 4 game stint where 2 players were sent off early with this set of c unts is a horrible baptism of fire and not at all illustrative. Rowett is considerably more experienced and has managed a solitary win.

Jobs a poisoned chalice.

Did Marti even get to make a signing?

He was given a squad that had set losing and not scoring records in the Premier league. That team was then stripped of the nearest thing it had to assets but he was somehow supposed to do well just because it's the championship? A few loanees 1 of which should never have came and another that was crocked.

Rowett inherited the same team with a couple of injuries on the terminal decline and was expected to get a bounce.

Not having it. The squads horrible.

He said he didn’t want to be a manager and looked worried to death in the pressers.
The bigger issue for me is he’s been a coach from pre  season, was in Martis ear and GRs ear during the games, was a central midfielder himself for years with his strengths as a grafter  yet our midfield is awful!
It’s a definite no for AK for me.

We wont let him go until July (start of the new financial year) then spend 1.5 months looking for someone new and give them no preseason and no transfers

And to top it all we had Brian Barry-Murphy in the building and let him go to Cardiff to earn them promotion, says it all really.

Rudkin if he had an ounce of decency would fall on his sword after that decision.

He didn’t achieve much here which probably tells you all you need to know about the squad   Unmanageable

Im not saying we should give it to King but people really need to stop with this he's part of a terrible coaching team rubbish. It's really hard to know how good a coach is under a terrible manager e.g. Chris Davies under Rodgers and Brian Barry Murphuy under RVN. Also King's role other than those 4 games which weren't as terrible as people make out we did make improvements were running and did score goals lots of issues still but there have been all season Kings role has been to integrate young players into the first team. He is not in charge of tactics or 1st team training generally

Rowett's contract surely only runs until the last game? Why would they extend it beyond that?

And even if it was until July, why would it prevent somebody else being appointed in the meantime?

We need to clear out all managers and coaches and start again . Try to create a new work ethic and culture. It's the only hope . I would also clear out as many of our current squad as possible

Heard a rumour that Rowett communicated to the Top & Rudkin he has no intention of management beyond this season at Leicester or anywhere else. Which explains an awful lot. But for most clubs you'd think they be sounding out managers now given Top's disappearance that's most certainly not the case.

He's obviously not a manger yet and didn't want to be in the poison like you said - but he could be a good coach, we just don't know.

I'm sure you've had bosses that have ignored your suggestions previously.

I can see what you mean, but I’m not convinced so far.
I stick by what I’ve said about his midfield knowledge though, and expected to see some or more improvement at least, but we’ve continued to be woefully lacking in that area. We all love him and want him to succeed - he seems to be a genuinely nice bloke.

Yes, you’re right about bosses, and I’ve also ignored suggestions from my employees when I was a boss as well 😂!
