Chairman of the Bored Posted 9 March Posted 9 March (edited) Breaking news from inside Seagrave this morning" LCFC players say they declare their "respect, devotion and obedience" to Rowatt, and say that squad members are "ready for complete obedience and self-sacrifice in carrying out the divine commands of the Guardian Jurist in our endeavours to remain a Championship club". Have they been listening to the IRCG, I wonder? Edited 9 March by Chairman of the Bored
Nolucklcfc Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Hopefully they don’t shit themsleves because they are playing at home 🙄 1
Officer Doofy Posted 9 March Posted 9 March If we don't het the win against these then it's pretty much confirmation of where we will be playing next season.

If we don't show some genuine winning characteristics now then I have zero faith they will when the pressure is truly on and the single digit games are left. Mathematically obviously it isn't must win, but as an indicator of future chances I think it's a critical game. I have zero faith we will demonstrate something we haven't for a long time regardless. 3
Rubbersoul Posted 9 March Posted 9 March West Brom & Blackburn have rougher fixtures than us on paper, not that it means a lot as we’re crap! but if by some miracle we start winning at home we’ve got the futures to help us.
jv1 Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Winks , James and mukasa midfield 3 please - one holder and 2 numbers 8s - we don’t need 2 holders as we can’t keep a clean sheet anyway so go try score a few
Popular Post Finnegan Posted 9 March Popular Post Posted 9 March These are very mid table with little to play for. Exactly the sort of game we need to be winning now. Same as QPR. These two games are massive. I very rarely buy in to this attitude (and it feels hypocritical when I won't be there) but it's when the crowd need to get back on side a bit too and genuinely start being encouraging. It's pretty obvious there's a major confidence issue, particularly playing at home. If we can't get over that hoodoo we're going down. We can complain all we want about this group of professionals shouldn't need and maybe don't deserve the encouragement but relegation probably kills this club for the short and mid term. We're ultimately all in it together. 6

A win here would be absolutely priceless because it can allow us to kick on. The next run of games has plenty of generous/winnable fixtures. It is imperative that the crowd get behind them on Tuesday. For 90 minutes put the off pitch malarky aside and make those players feel comfortable to play at home. All those "backing the lads" need to start getting off their backsides and opening their gobs or clapping their hands. We as fans have the obligation to do our job and hopefully it will translate on the pitch. We got right loud and excited for the start of the Norwich game, gave the lads a huge roar on kickoff and then got quieter with each passing minute. The players were unable to give us a single thing to cheer about. The enthusiasm has to come from the pitch. The fans react to what we see. 1
Officer Doofy Posted 9 March Posted 9 March It's firmly on the players now not the fans. These lot are paid well above everyone else in this league and it's about time they showed some personal pride and self respect.
jv1 Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Do our bit and sing and encourage - then we can’t complain - if we are as crap as them nobody wins 1
Stadt Posted 9 March Posted 9 March If we don’t win this I think it’s curtains, there’s obviously more points to play for but I just can’t see us winning more than once or twice if we can’t beat these in the circumstances 4
AKCJ Posted 9 March Posted 9 March I'd have your arm off for a 2-0. Did the thing again where I spent a few minutes trying to pick an 11 i'd be happy with before realising I hate about 80% of the squad. Can't bring myself to admit that our best options are the likes of Winks, Thomas and Mavididi.

Winks is probably the best player in his position in the Championship, so not exactly in the same category as Thomas and Mavididi.... 1

He's a twat and hasn't played like he cares for about 2 years now. I'd swap him immediately for about 30 players in his position from this division.

I don't care how much people hate him, if he helps us stay up I'm happy for him to play. I'm not sure how you actually squeeze him in our best 11 if JJ is fit to start. If he misses out purely tactically then fair enough. But I couldn't give a shit about anyone's personal grudges right now as long as we stay in the league. 9 1

He was brilliant on Saturday—not just in his own performance, but in how he was constantly cajoling and organising his teammates. He's been our best player since returning to the team under Rowett. We are desperately short of leaders on the pitch and at the moment he is doing that for us. All I care about is staying up, and we're a much better side with Winks in it at the moment. Right now I couldn't care less about his issues with previous managers. 7
