Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 8 March Posted 8 March James has to play probably at the expense of BCR, no other changes is my prediction.
Gazza3 Posted 8 March Posted 8 March Are we at the stage where the future of our club depends on certain games. The next 2 are absolutely massive. Minimum of 4 points needed . Should be 6 . Anything ess and it's hard to see where the points are coming from. 3
oxtonfox Posted 8 March Posted 8 March I think we’re too stuck to this formation but we can’t play an alternative at this stage. We’re reliant on two wide attackers who have simply been very poor this season. I include Abdul who has been disappearing for many games and is an immature player despite his capabilities. I’d like to see Jordan James and Divine Mukasa in the team but we also need Skipp’s defensive support, and Winks passing particularly at home. We need patson to occupy their centre backs just by running around if nothing else. I’d drop Abdul and give the nod to Mavadidi despite his disappointing returns in the hope he can have an effective game. Id like to see Aluko at right back but suspect it’ll be Hamza or Ricardo. 1
davieG Posted 8 March Posted 8 March Stol OKoli Lascelles Nelson Thomas Skippy Winks Silko Mukasa James Daka Shift to a back 3 with the ball and push Thomas up as he seem a more productive/ safer player further up the pitch. Hopefully Lascelles can keep an eye on Okoli. Stol OKoli Lascelles Nelson Skippy Winks Silko Mukasa James Thomas Daka 2

Going to assume James and Mukasa were both held back until late on in readiness for Tuesday's game, and we've actually managed part one (nick something at Ipswich) of a two game plan. Yes, I know, I just said we had a plan. BDCR surely will get replaced, and Skipp looks an easier choice for the bench than he would have been a few weeks ago 2

Chelmofox Posted 8 March Posted 8 March These are on a slide into mid table end of season obscurity. Recent wins were against Blackburn and Sheff Weds, although they battled to a Win at Hull. Lost to Derby 5-0 recently and dumped by Port vale in the cup. We have to take the game to them. We cant be sitting back just giving them possession back continuously. These are going to be a significant level below Ipswich, Borough and Norwich. But i have a fear Rowett only knows one way of playing, and that to be the underdog. 4
Katy Posted 8 March Posted 8 March It depends what we do in our ‘good’ 45 minutes and again what we do in the other 45 minutes

They can press from the front and attack as a team yet they choose not to. Slowing the play from the back and Mav/Fat standing still on the halfway line to not pass the ball or Ayew falling over doesn’t improve our play. Playing quicker, direct and with support made such a difference but only capable 45 mins every two months. Edited 8 March by Richmondfox
Spudulike Posted 8 March Posted 8 March We've forgotten how to win games and this will be very nervy especially if we take the lead. 30 games and counting but I'm not holding my breath that we won't be another game closer to the record (which is already ours!).
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 8 March Posted 8 March Simply have to win. All these "improved performances" are fine but we have to win games. 1
LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 8 March Posted 8 March Must win. Also imperative the atmosphere isn't toxic. If going down, you have your bit to play. 1
whoareyaaa Posted 8 March Posted 8 March First must win to save us from relegation hopefully the players step up and show some balls instead of being worried or scared to death to try and be positive with the ball

Lots of talk about becoming hard to beat. But we haved moved from creating 'very little' to creating 'next to nothing'.
Dan Posted 8 March Posted 8 March Massive opportunity. Their manager is supposedly making bizarre decisions to make a point to their board, and their form has gone right off the boil. Even despite this they aren't playing quite as badly as we are. But we've definitely caught them at a decent time. It just needs to be a win.
