yep, and it is across many clubs, but Leicester seem to have more than anywhere it is bizarre. As a previous poster mentioned - you won't find any Forest playing down their achievements, but us it is "what a time it was but we are back to where we belong now" 

 

What Irks me the most, is the fans that complain about the protests and say we would all need to back the lads then are silent in the ground.

The digital tickets and over the top security searches in the last few years the reasons I’m giving up my ticket after 20+ years, better things to do with my time is not worthwhile

I don't disagree with you. I hate people, our own fans, putting our own club down but those sort of people were bought by King Power years ago they genuinely believe we owe everything to King Power. Very weird. 

 

Forest don't play down their achievements, why would they, but we have this attitude of "they live in the past". Despite the fact we now do it playing videos before every home game and people standing clapping it. Unreal behaviour. 

 

Forest fanbase act like a big club, our fanbase act like a club that were lucky to be in the top flight.

I think we have a really passive fan base that will fill the stadium next year, atmosphere will be awful for years and Leicester will decline even further I fear 

 

What I meant when I said that we like where we sit and the people around us, wasn‘t that we go for the social aspect of it.  When we first got season tickets we ended up near some really nasty people, who told my son off for getting excited and shouting.  Apparently it disturbed his daughter who was busy watching My Little Pony on her phone.  Every week they found something new to complain about.  So we moved, and now we sit near nice people, and I wouldn’t want to risk losing my seat and being surrounded by dickheads again. 
 

I really dislike the concept seen on here of the “hierarchy of fans”.  Leicester doesn’t have glory fans.  Apart from the handful of Thai tourists and corporate box-owners, the fans all just want to watch the team play well and get some points.  I don’t understand why some people want the fans to turn on each other.

The searches just labels us all as thugs and probably epitomises everything wrong with football in general.

I'm surprised that they have security in most areas when i walk around pre match which again epitomises our club.

 

Are these security checks a norm in football nowadays?

Yeah you can move whenever you want throughout the season. They charge you now though, £5.

Bought us in 2010. Promptly get rid of Pearson for successive big name appointments. Anybody with football knowledge and a plan would have looked at the 2 years up to the takeover and not messed with it. He was a big name brought in with safety in mind. What he achieved was miraculous but not evidence of a strategy/plan/footballing knowledge on the owners account. 
 

2016/17, 2017-18, 2018/19 were 3 successive seasons where managers were dispensed of with us in or close to the relegation zone. The first 2 under Vichai.

 

It was always build on sand foundations and likely to come down. Yes Aiyawatt has accelerated it and taken it to a new level. But let’s not pretend Vichai was a footballing genius. They way people go on about how they (KP/Vichai/Aiyawatt) ‘won’ us the league is nauseating. It is like it was them keeping Kasper/Simpson/Huth/Morgan/Fuchs’ clean sheets. Or they were dominating the midfield like Kante, turning defenders inside out like Mahrez or scoring Vardy’s goals….

I am in no way ungrateful. I think that credit has been over exaggerated and led to being the reason the fan base won’t speak out collectively now like they have in the past.

Spot on. I’m sick of reading Vichai would have never let this happen, yet most the people in post he put there. I appreciate the part they played but it was minimal and is now a problem.
