No. We were charged and docked points for the three year period ending 2023/24. We have not been charged for 2024/25 and it looks unlikely we will be now given that West Brom have had their charge fast-tracked and we've heard nothing.

 

The big question is whether we breach for this season and we probably won't know the answer to that for a while yet. The transfer window opens on 15 June and I expect us to be scrambling to sell any player who might command a fee before July...

That's more on the club for having zero planning in place, if they were backing Enzo with players to play the way he and they wanted, they should of had a shortlist of managers in case Enzo left that would play a similar way to make use of the player recruitment, they appointed Steve Cooper ......

I think there's a pretty good chance this could happen. There was an interview with Smith a couple of months ago, when he said, he's loving Managing in the States, but, he wants to get back to English football, 'soon'. A Midland lad, with a 'real challenge' (!), at a Club he has 'unfinished business' with, could mean he'd consider coming back. Fuchs' experience as his Assistant at Charlotte and now, Newport, might well lead to an ideal partnership?

This is completely true, look at Bournemouth (****ing Bournemouth ffs) excellent manager leaves, they have a new one lined up in days. Succession planning is a thing and a huge problem for us for decades, Jon Rudkin doesn't know what it is. The main issue for us is always the general competence of the idiots in charge!

This is very unfair

 

john has to decide if it’s tuna or chicken sandwiches each morning.  Once that done he understandably has little time or energy to tend to other matters. 
and then it’s the weekend when he and mrs john attend the local garden centre both days. (When he’s not watching the team play). 
 

im sure he will find some time in late July to look at the new manager position.  I think it’s salad by then so not such a tricky morning.

Yeah, I don't particularly like the bloke, personality wise. But you don't get selected by City Group to run an entire pre season for elite development squad players across the group (at the Man City academy) if you're useless. He also went on from that to be selected for Lommel.

 

Both of those jobs will have been given to him by McCarron, I know we don't ALWAYS go with convenience, but it all feels a little too obvious, particularly with LJ's agent stating he'd like to return to the UK sooner rather than later.

Pearson back as an advisory role would do wonders for us. Root and branch review. S+C, scouting, analytics etc could be something for him.

 

If they don't get it together then they'll be playing in an empty stadium next season.

Managers have nothing to do with contracts now and he was hired to play that style. I’d say he can’t be blamed for either.

They do to an extent, supposedly Winks was brought in for him and Vestergaard was extended at his request before he left. Ultimately the club is responsible of course, again its not to blame him specifically but he certainlly played a part in where we are by mainly fooking off when he did, then taking KDH.

Yes your correct, I was just researching our case. Now we're in league 1 PSR doesn't apply anymore. 

 

Its the salary cost management protocol, so relegated clubs are allowed a wage cap of 75% of the turnover.

Again, I don't like the bloke, but his stats (particularly in League one) are sound.

 

Play off promotion with Barnsley, Play off loss with Sunderland. No dramas with Bristol City and a cup run or two. 

 

He's also gone away after Hibs and tried to build up an education, City Group, FC Coppenhagen etc.
