They obviously hadn’t sold as many as previous seasons and had a lot of people not renew, but like I said, there is no chance only half of the people renewed and the above doesn’t really add any logic to suggest otherwise.

 

This is a pure guess, but I’d say a max of 5k didn’t renew.

Plastics never renewed,and Yes most non plastics want KP gone as well.

Can’t blame people for not renewing, harsh calling them plastics if you don’t know their circumstances.

I'm shocked. My contact at the club said less than half (around 11k) had renewed, meaning suddenly 12k new fans have bought STs for league one?? His info must be wrong surely the club wouldn't lie, they're all full of such upstanding people......

How many of the non renewed would have   managed to renew, if the team was top half of the Premier league,despite their circumstances? 

This non renewal has given the fan base a freshen up with the opportunity for others to experience the ups and downs of football life.These people have been locked out for over ten years whilst the plastics became more and more entitled.

Historically we are 20th in over all rankings

We had a good run and a squandered opportunity. Now we are in a bad position but we will be back,even if it takes administration or a phoenix rebirth.

Been a supporter for 55 years and due to footy on a Saturday had gone to as many games as possible on general sale. Have tried to get a season ticket for years but due to our success this has been impossible. Got the chance this year and grabbed it with my son also getting a season ticket. Shame it’s now in league 1 but it’s in your blood I guess.

I have been waiting for a very long time to get my hands on a season ticket so I jumped at the opportunity when they finally hit general sale.
I don't really care it's because we're in league 1, we will bounce back in time. its all apart of the journey. we follow anyway. this is what makes us a great club
I hope KP sell up. None the less, Im looking forward to next season

There is never likely to be a complete collapse.

 

I am glad there are still people willing to buy.

 

It doesn't change what is going on though. And that things won't change until Top and Rudkin are done.

The club is an absolute shit show, correct, but things will improve and when they do, you'll be there to enjoy the good times.

 

Its about getting on the ladder.

Watching us for a few games will soon see that taken out of you  honestly I don't actually mind being a bad side with not very good players if that's our level! its just the half ass tippy tippy sideways and backwards performances from players who think they are better than they are. Id rather see a complete carthorse give 100%, ive seen a few over the years!

4000 "first timers"... if you ran a business that lost 20% of its customers in one hit... youd look at why and take action to prevent future occurence, even if you had replacements lined up.

How did the plastics manage to get season tickets if people have been locked out for over ten years?

Ive always said im not bothered about what happens in offices, i enjoy a couple of beers, meeting the lad, now being able to take my grandson who has a first time season ticket, watching a Leicester City in a game of football, going home and having a decent take away, that for me is a nice way to spend a Saturday. I dont take the result home with me or worry about what the owners or office staff are earning or what the are doing, just a day out, talking football with freinds and family. ive followed City for over 60 years home and away (when possible) and wouldnt want it any other way

No not at all. After 30 years I will still be supporting but just from afar. The whole modern 'matchday experience' and the social media hyperbole scene just leaves me a bit cold (yeah...grumpy old man vibes I know!) and i just dont enjoy it like I used to. The tactical trend in the way teams are set up and the way they play doesnt provide enough excitement through the season either.

Some of the reasons/statements in here convincing themselves why its good to renew, and then people will scratch their heads as to why we are targeting the likes of Russell Martin? 🤣 it really is incredible. Genuinely hope we appoint him would be hilarious and everything the fans deserve that still pour money into the club.

Those that have cancelled their season tickets need the club to continue to fail to enable them to get season tickets again in the near future tbf. If the club are successful next season then there’ll be very few season tickets available for the following season.
