Ignoring what we all thick of Martin, it never made sense to appoint him, of for no other reason than the fact he is universally despised so unless he got perfection from the off, people would turn on him.

Don't get me wrong, any manager wasn't getting much time but Martin could not afford to drop a single point in the opening 10 games.

That result and a lot of the performance was honking.

I said when he appointed that the fanbase wouldn't extend him much patience.

Now we'll see.

GET HIM GONE,WEVE HAD ENOUGH?

get him sacked already, was a bad appointment and there's no point wasting even more time on this *****

Agree. We knew it before he even started.

We are all well aware that there’s deeper problems, but you have to give yourself a chance by getting the manager right. Martin was never the right choice, he never will be. Eventually he will be sacked, but we can’t let it get worse than this….. get rid tonight.

He's determined to turn an OAP Alex Mcarthy into prime Lothar Matthaus through sheer willpower alone.

If you thought Rodgers was stubborn this is the even more ossified simpleton version.

The minute Dave Challinor signals he’s ready to come back into a job my god we need to do whatever is left in this ****ed up ownerships power to get him in. We aren’t winning more than a handful of home games this season under this utter ****ing hopeless way of playing football with this squad.

He's even more awful than I feared. Seem to vaguely remember Norwich getting rid of Gunn (?) 2 disastrous games into a season and going up

Tbf wasn't that Gary Rowett who was also massively shit?

Rowett did fvck all to make the players work hard and graft, he was more interested in going on holiday to the Algarve than arresting the slide

What are the chances we can even afford to get rid of him?

I fear we are going to have to sit watching him pout and pretend he's analysing something until the club sale is finalised...

I hate to be that guy but going to anyway.

@boosmanana are we still rolling out the “it’s only been two games” nonsense?!

It’s almost as if you can’t judge a manager/situation before they’re appointed.

yep, their league one season. Got punted by Colchester 7-1 at home, got rid of him and got a competent manager in and went back to back back up to the prem

Am I imagining it or did a couple of fans run on to the pitch and demonstrate in front of the dig out? Seemed to do the trick

I defended him last week. Playing away at a newly promoted team. But this week it was a disgrace and just the exact thing time and time again. Lost me already.

Think it was 4 or 5 games in wasn’t it but yeh bounced him out and had the best couple of years they’d had in quarter of a century. We could’ve done with a similar shoeing rather than the tepid shite from today
