Interesting excuse about being tired after three games in three days....

Someone has told him that happens quite a lot in League One right?

Oxford weren't.

We must be one of the only clubs in world football to smash a team to bits 9-1 on aggregate and yet desperately throw in the kitchen sink to appoint the manager coordinating the absoloute shambles

Just listened to his post match interview on RL. I thought the performance had left me speechless but my god this bloke is utterly and totally deluded.Glad Matt Piper called him out politely, my views are not so polite. Surely he can’t survive a defeat at Stockport?.

I don't want to change our manager every 6 months or so. I would like some sort of stability, I want to love the club again and be proud. But Top and duffers employing the wrong person again and again and again.

This was a chance to do something different. We have a lot of talented youngsters, and I think a good squad. But the tactics are hindering their development, their ability to express themselves. They all look confused as who is suppose to move where.

Bobby was useless. He is too lightweight and gave the ball away countless times. And why the hell are we passing it between keeper and defender, back to keeper then back to defender with the opposition closing us down?!! Who in their right mind thinks that tis a good idea. You are a defender, clear it you idiots!!!!

It's thick play and we're heading nowhere other than being one of the dross in this league. A more progressive manager, would have this team firing.

I know it's early, but the top 2 is slipping away already.

He said we lost the game in the first 30 mins.

3 Worst players on the pitch were Souttar, Bobby and Burns.

Then says its his fault because he took the experienced players off and thats what changed the game.

Just contradicting himself.

The way he sets up lost us the game. They knew exactly how to exploit it, and because he is tactically inept, he has no idea how to deal with it and just doubles down with the same shit.

But yeah bellend, blame the kids, when the experienced lot never step up.

Spot on.

I never wanted him. I wanted a change in the playing style, however I was willing to give him a chance and hoping that his Rangers experience would make his re think his playing tactics. Clearly this is not happening. Today performance and result is a new low for me and if he’s not sacked anytime soon, I fear there will there will many more lows.

I read that as 9-0.... However. I then re-read.

We cannot understand why you keep chasing our staff/players either in fairness!

It's like some kind of reparations.

Yeah I’m done with him now. Some outside the club would say we’ve all turned early, but we haven’t. We’ve suffered this for half a decade and it’s ****ing boring now. I don’t want to see another possession obsessed manager in the club for at least the next decade.

Give me Sean Dyche right now and I know we’ll be in the PL within 3 years.

Good shout with Dyche. Isn’t he Rudkins mate?

It's quite remarkable how Top and Rudkin have managed to be so unaware of Martin's flaws, when he has displayed them in every single job he's had, with no sign of changing or "learning" from his mistakes, for his entire managerial career. Even if they managed to be so completely out of touch with the wider football world where they never take a blind bit of notice of what is going on, at least one of them had to be sat there, in the KP, watching Enzo's Leicester team completely disassemble Brussel's Southampton by easily taking advantage of their blatant weak spots on  the counter attack, yet here we are, years later, and the weakness is still as glaring then as it was back then.

How does Martin still not twig that his managerial style massively exposes his defence, for a former centre back he seems to have zero idea of what a solid defensive block is.

Absolutely spot on.

Imagine having a hard on for a manager that was humbled twice by Enzo.

The signs that a Martin team can get humiliated at home were there for all to see.

Didn’t we have an aggregate of 9-1 that season against them?

No accountability, this time it’s inexperience and 3 games in a week. Did someone tell him it’s a 46 game season with cup fixtures or was he expecting to play each team just once. What a Pillock.

Throwing the young players, who have been the ones actually showing desire, skill and will to do well, under the bus like that is disgraceful. He should call out the internationals and massively experienced players - and himself -  instead. Give pelters to McCarthy, Souttar, Thomas, BDCR, Burns, Riis. Call them out - on Tuesday he rightly praised Page and Braybrooke. Where's the protection now?

I can’t get my head round as an ownership your backs are against the wall, you’re coming off the back off the worst season in our history and you need an appointment that’ll reignite the fanbase from kick 1 of day 1, also knowing that if you get it right you’ve got 25,000 fans behind the team, a young team at that that’ll need their support!

And instead you appoint the one manager you know that a large majority of fans dislike and don’t want.

It’s honestly just baffling!!

Typical narcissistic leadership. Yhat refuse to be wrong ever.

Us fans are the problem
