Exactly what I thought. They'll get a huge fine, probably a fairly long transfer ban, and maybe, maybe a points deduction (though probably not). 

 

Those wanting titles and cups stripped from them are gonna be disappointed.

Man United were 8 points clear in April 2012. Aguero should never been allowed to happen in that respect. Liverpool in 2014 were ahead under Rodgers and fell away (sounds familar).

 

Teams had ample opportunities to stop Man City during those seasons.

If they start doing back counts on titles or points deducted from previous seasons thats the biggest shitshow known to man incoming.

Exactly this, the advantage has put them in such a position that the most “damage” done to the club will be possibly 1 season outside of Europe

Breaking financial rules between 2009-2018. Failing to cooperate between 2018-2023. 
 

Although I am sure that they’d be a case from 2018 onwards aswell. 
 

This could potentially be catastrophic for football - the amount of clubs all seeking compensation for that 9 year period would be crazy.

There is almost no end point as to possible litigation here, for  a multitude of clubs as well.

 

This could be the event that finally breaks football in this country, if it's not broken already.
