Pfff.  Hate watching the likes of Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth now, seeing how well their clubs have been run during the same period we’ve plummeted despite a huge financial head start.  Horrid.

Funny how south coast clubs on the up and a lesser light of London out doing  bigger sides in the smoke

What a show Brighton are putting on for their 125th anniversary.

Nice clear kit without a silly sponsor ruining it all too.

The way Leicester are going - and considering they are just down the road now - I could do a lot worse than abandon 50+ years of loyalty and start supporting my new home club. Sadly - it's an impossibility.

How times change. I remember watching The Dammed United and Brian Clough was trying to convince Peter Taylor that Brighton was a football backwater. Now with a London by the sea image the place and the football team is fashionable

I have been known to sneak down and watch the odd game.

Same at Fulham

Usually when I just want to see football- proper football, rather than what we have been served up the last 3 or 4 years.

Same. I like to see Brighton doing well. They have been through some utter shit with the Goldstone ground getting sold etc.. Gives us all hope - just as we gave hope to so many clubs.

They were a good 2nd team to support in the league, (until I had to start supporting Arsenal... (ᴮᵒᵒ))

Steve Cooper is a pre-game analyst for the late Sky game (Forest).

Nothing personal against him and he's actually adding value to this pre-game segment, but seeing him just reminds me what a bad appointment he was for us after Maresca. Another horrific decision by Rudkin, Top etc.

So Cov and Forest, a game you’d love to see both teams lose 5 nil!

The choice in this game

Still waiting for the drop off a few said Brighton would have lol

Their all round recruitment continues to impress (based on bloom’s data driven model)

they’ve been through the buy them cheap and sell them high whilst not having to pay big salaries stage

now they’re spending a bit more but no evidence that they’re having to pay enormous wages

It’s tough to maintain it though

Pains me to say it but I’d prefer a Forest win today over Coventry as I want Cov to have the most miserable season ever

Yeah in this situation it's the lesser of the evils as Forest are likely to just finish midtable.
