Cant see any reason why Brighton can't contend for the title this year. 

 

Watching them batter Arsenal yesterday reminded me of us in 2015/16

Just seen Everton's disallowed goal. Absolutely pathetic decisions. Not that they should need to, but Ipswich players don't even appeal for anything. 

 

So much for 'not wanting to re-referee the game'

The reason I see is the European involvement. 

Not necessarily the opponents, but the amount of games their squad has to contend with. 

 

Toughest opponent is Monaco anyway, and perhaps they can rotate, but they do look a good polished team. 

 

Palace, Liverpool and Man City all next month though!

Those two lates strikes were Spurs’ first league goals of the season; they’d gone four games and 85 minutes without a goal prior to that.

 

That means Spurs fans waited longer than Coventry supporters for a first goal of the season (in relative minutes of matches played).

 

This start comes on the back of consecutive 17th place finishes in the league where they’ve struggled to amass 40 points; so the question has to be asked…

 

Are Spurs strong candidates for relegation now?

And Cherki grabs another with a decent finish. Sunderland should be clearing/blocking it. Another goal conceded from playing out from defence...

Will be interesting to see the decision as I didn’t think the sunderland player could lean his body far enough forward to be considered offside based on his foot position and the man city’s defender foot position
