Chelsea fined a HUGE £10m, and given suspended registration ban for two windows for breaching agent regs. Was initially a 6pt deduction but Chelsea appealed.

That's for their 10 years of deliberate and sustained illegal payments to agents worth £50m, on players with whom they won the Premier League twice, the Europa League twice, the Champions League twice, the FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA World Cup; and on whom they profited £250m in sales. 

 

2 £10m fines for £50m of illegal payments. 

 

We got a 6 point deduction for an alleged £20m overspend, which only happened because we were relegated to the Championship by the Premier League delaying Everton's 6 point deduction for 6 months.

 

This sport is rotten to the ****ing core.

Amazing that Chelsea Football Club's new owners demanded a £150m discount from the old owner because they knew they had been cheating for a generation and expected to be fined for it.

 

So far that's ended up being a £130m discount. 

 

Cheating is a profitable business it seems.

A so called punishment that is small change to Chelsea. On the one hand the football authorities here look at Fifa and Infantino with disdain but allow the game to be brought into disrepute. No way would they allow their product to be damaged at the top end of the Premier League if one of the fancied sides affected. Two tier policing of football

The Premier League and EFL like to talk about 'fit and proper persons' when it comes to ownership but when are people going to ask if the likes of Masters and Parry are fit and proper persons to be leading these organisations? They are inarguably corrupt, unable to draft fair and sensible rules, and absolutely willing to treat some clubs vindictively while protecting others for actual deliberate and sustained cheating.

Chelsea are a poster boy for the Premier League. The first significant foreign takeover, ploughing hundreds of millions in transfer fees and growing the global brand. The last thing the league wants is for them to suffer. 

 

Easy to go for Leicester, Nottingham Forest and Everton and to hinder Aston Villa. Chelsea got in at the right time and stayed there.

100% it will.

 

Maybe they will get a 100 mill fine but will be pushed down to 50 on appeal.

 

Maybe 4 suspended transfer windows bans.

 

Nothing of substance, just has to be more than Chelsea's by double and  its all good.

 

Expect an announcement in the next 6 months lol

And the FAs starting position was actually 15 points!

 

What is the point of football anymore.

Absolutely deplorable. A fine of £10M is derisory. They broke the rules so why not a points deduction?

 

The FA is a joke and should hang their heads in shame.

One of the reasons they didn't get a points deduction was that the PL/FA only reserve this for 'exceptional circumstances' or the most 'extreme cases'. 

 

Yet Everton were hammered with one...
