Include the relegation clause in that I would be surprised if he’s on more than £25k a week. Dont get me wrong it’s still a lot for this level but it’s not shattering amounts.

moore_94 Posted 24 July Author Posted 24 July Even if we signed him on £75k a week and then put him on the low end of the relegation wage clauses of 35% it would be down to around £30k a week now I wouldn’t be surprised if we paid him less than that and a higher end of the relegation clause

At the time I would have put it down to the World Cup being on, but he finished his role there relatively early, and it hasn't stopped others at the World Cup getting moves. Until Sheffield United match our valuation I can't see him going. We've sold a number now that we might be able to hang on to him for a season.
