They are broke. More so than us.

Just sold Fernandes to spurs for £85 million and about to sell Summerville for 50m odd.

They will still spend some.

he's on 40k

Percy made great play when he was signed that he had an sig relegation clause in his contract.

can’t see that he would have been on much more than 50k in the prem so would expect that 40k to be a bit high for the championship. Could certainly understand that we didn’t put a clause in for league 1 !

Are relegation clauses division specific(ie prem to champ specific)/are they a one hit kind of thing(only one relegation reduction and then none for following relegations)?

genuine question, not being facetious

It was mentioned by Percy again I think that all players all had league 1 relegation clauses as well

It is pretty standard contract as even Spurs players had it, and probably not league specific

I’ve been wondering the same thing.

Maybe before both relegation clauses kicked in.

One can hope. But that was his wage when he signed. He was also told after we signed him he was to stay for one season and then we were selling him, he got injured and that was that. Probably some PSR fiddle that back fired.

Bloke has been messed around from day one.

Hes only played what could be considered two full seasons of football in nearly 10 years of playing.

It's hard to believe hes a 15million fiddle, rather than a bad signing overall.

Hard to believe a lot of things that have gone on over the last 5 years..

I see Souttar has flown out to Spain with the rest of the squad - so no imminent transfer.

Doesn’t mean a huge amount in the grand scheme of things other than we won’t have agreed a deal.

Could be a tactic to get more money when everything has been agreed, to get him to drop his demands etc etc etc.

So he’s linked to:

Stoke

Sheffield United

Wrexham

West Ham

Asking price is £12m
