Try not to take it to literally, I’m saying a lot completely ridiculed the appointment. But looks like so far so good with improvements in the culture and only positive things to come out of seagrave so far.

Not sure it was 90%, think quite a lot weren't massively fond of him and what they'd seen in the media (e.g. after being on the end of two hidings from Maresca) and what other fans had said about him, but also thought he'd likely do a decent job, especially in League One.

To be fair it was a bit of innocuous post and generally summed up the feeling of the appointment which was negative all round. 
 

Not worth getting your knickers in a twist about - I think we all know he’s got to prove himself and will probably get the opening 10 games to do so

One of my friends is a manager and with all of the teams he has managed he tells them to remove headphones before getting off the coach. 
 

Makes the players listen to the stick they are getting from home fans to use as motivation and helps prepare them better for the more hostile environments

I said several times over the summer that one of the key attributes I think we needed in a manager was someone with the ability to reset standards and attitudes at the club, and for the club to bomb out the bad apples who are infecting this squad - it sounds like for the most part that has happened. I'll hold my hands up, I didn't think Martin would be that guy - he struck me as another Rodgers, a bit cringe, with the accompanying David Brent-esque soundbites, but absolutely fair play to him. Remains to be seen how he will perform as manager, but this is certainly an encouraging start.

He's done far better than Cooper, RVN, Marti and Rowett on the above - it was probably a harder task for RVN and Rowett as it was a mid season job but time will tell if he can get a tune out of the team consistently and get the mix right between youth and experience. If we can start winning away in December at some honking league one ground then that's where he will earn his money.

Given that the club has had seven managers in four seasons, it is not surprising that the culture became toxic.

Players and staff were constantly required to adapt to new approaches, making it difficult to establish consistent behaviours, standards, and a clear team identity.

 

This instability was likely compounded by the points deduction, financial difficulties, and three relegations, all of which may have negatively affected morale, trust, and motivation across the club.

There's suddenly a big upswell of people who very quietly always wanted Martin here, and a number of honest posters saying he's changed their minds. He's not put a foot wrong so far but he's paid to win football matches so let's see what happens, particularly if the winning doesn't.
