Disappointing

Not sure the manager or club fancied him.

They could think Gray is a better long term prospect.

Interesting that he's being signed by a team that finished third in the same league we're now in

Wonder if they seem him as a starter or a long term player to develop.

I don’t think he will start for them

Be interesting to see if he has got past his fitness/injury issues as well

This must mean we're signing a centre half now.

Okoli, Faes, Souttar, Gray is all we have now and I seriously doubt that Faes and Souttar stay here.

In fact, Faes isn't actually listed on the website. https://www.lcfc.com/teams-men

The website is rarely up to date tbf and Faes isn't on there because they've not updated it since the last lot went on loan, you'll notice Woyo isn't listed either :)

Not sure who’s left from those days, but this is also a club that fancied Thomas as a better bet than Bassey. 😞

With our centre half situation this just seems so short sighted again. Like Cartwright he'd be a fine squad option who wouldn't cost us much in wages.

I thought this until Gray didn't come on for Nelson v Genoa. Made me think he's a way down the pecking order.

Okoli & Faes have never let us down mate. Give them another chance

Would have to think agreeing to this means something is in the pipeline. Doubt we want to be in a position where we can’t let Faes or Okoli go without a signing first for too long

Then play him?

Hmmm, we must be doing something

With Nelsen out for the season and not signing a new deal, Faes no longer listed and trying to find a move, mixed with Okoli and Souttar both ideally wanting to move on, its a bit of a mess.

Wish people would drop this

None of those out on loan last season are listed

None of the young crop (of which there are loads) that are clearly in the first team this season, are as of yet listed.

It's just a web page to be updated, probably after the first team photo shoot thing!

Fair enough, I'll say with Faes who has been pushing for a move for multiple years, not even getting a look in, suggests he might finally be off.

Leaves us with 2 centre backs by all acounts, both of which dont really want to be here, even if they are being professional about it.

Good job we won’t panic or keep players we’d rather sell because we’re really light in long term problem positions.

But Yoshida on a 5 year deal will be good because we can’t play any U21s otherwise we’ll just lose 4-0 every game because our  players are young and they haven’t had sufficient years on the planet so they just default to losing inexplicably

Guaranteed two clean sheets for Stockport if we joins them. Not sure if he’s good but we’ll have Bob Reid up front

People forget it's a two way street, same for Cartwright. They are 21/22 years old why would they stick around as fringe options when they have options elsewhere?
