I feel like I’ve had the energy sucked out of me after enduring that 90mins. Ridiculous searches on the way in, the Pool of vomit the row in front of us on arrival in the stands, and the level of performance on offer once again. Nothing has changed. Our ‘next chapter’ as the club puts it, doesn’t begin until the club is sold. 
 

Martin on this evidence is what a lot of us feared. An appointment that should not even have been considered, let alone made. And now we’re stuck with him.

Teams will just bully us all season. Another season of 'technical' players being out fought and out desired. This constant need to play out the back, yet we gift at least 5 chances a game to the opposition and get zero benefit from it.

I have few words for that. What an opportunity for a fresh start. A clean state, and then we do that. It’s going to get worse before it gets better.

 

Caleb Okoli stormed off down the tunnel and didn’t join the players on their lap. He should never play for the club again.

We need to prepare for fights every week and sort out the pathetic defence. The fleet of new lightweight attacking midfielders may come good in time, but only if they have a lot more graft behind them. 

 

All of the 'established' pros can leave. Thomas, Souttar, Faes, Mavididi, Reed, Okoli, Skipp, Choudhury. Should have all been gone in the first week of the window last year. The rumour we've rejected bids for half of them this summer is mind boggling.

 

As for Russell Martin, I didn't want him but we have to back him now. Obviously the rot has run far deeper than the dugout for many years now.

 

I always thought we'd start slow then hit a groove around October, but still hard to accept quite how low standards have fallen in such a short period of time.

This club is on the edge of a catastrophic disaster. We either need a quick sale or just hope administration can yield a good owner. Either way, this club is heading one way, the rot is now a terminal infection, and nothing will change until there’s a change of ownership. 
 

Tops lost interest, and the whole club is on its arse… they’ve just assumed we will go up if we appoint Martin. And it’s going to hideously backfire..

Absolutely lost for words. Martin has been allowed to bring in several players that he wanted that no other club in this division would be able to afford or get and thats whats served up. Alves and Braybrooke once again the best players.

Awful on the pitch and just as bad off the pitch: they ran out of beer and food in the East Stand and there was nobody there to give anyone refunds and it was getting very antsy at half time!

Luke Thomas is genuinely an awful footballer. I’ve reached my absolute limit.

 

I've got a mate called Brenny. He's 47 years old now, but he's still a million times better than Luke Thomas. The bloke plays left back in a pair of Sambas, has a roll up fag at half-time, and still has a wand of a left foot that puts Luke Thomas to shame. 

 

To top it all off, he once had to fill in at centre mid for a friendly and completely bossed the game. Swear down, he looked like prime Pirlo just gliding around the pitch.
