The guy has inexplicably been kept around for far too long and has been far too comfortable in the periphery.

Chopping managers has been an absolute blessing for him. Each time he gets a fresh start and has provided next nothing.

It’s best for all for him to move on.

Didn't realise he only had a year left. Makes an obvious sell even more obvious.

How can anyone see him play and think

Yeah he looks like a quality signing

Baffles me

We need that video of Hamza almost single-handedly keeping out WBA during the Enzo era.

He did a lot of blocking and tackling in that match but he was one of the most guilty of giving the ball away in the first place :dunno:

Blows my mind that we've got people on here defending him and saying he's not that bad

I hate thinking this about an academy product but he hasn't been good enough for us for a long time.

I do, however, think he's more than good enough for this level but has been contaminated by the years of underachievement and is a big part of us being much less than the sum of our parts.

He needs to go. I'd rather not to Derby but beggars can't be choosers. I hope he puts his personal indiscretions and this sorry period at Leicester behind him and has a decent end to his career, as long as it doesn't come at our expense.

29 in six weeks time.

His whole career has been fliring around the first team and never been quite good enough whether we were a team challenging for Champions league qualification or a bottom half League One club. I actually quite rated him as a squad player when he first got his chance, I thought he had a unique set of skills to come on as a sub when holding on to something and under pressure  as he was quick, athletic, tenacious and busy.

But for the love of God go now man. Hard to believe he's almost 29 as he'snever progressed,

I imagine the fee will be nominal given he is in his last year. £2m + addons or something similar

Be suprised if anywhere near 2milion. Probably 500k

Can we afford that much?

I don’t have the issue with him many do but it’s a no brainer to get rid and I’m surprised people are saying otherwise. Maybe this is the lack of confidence in the club to bring someone in?

Anyway, as with many of the others, he is just part of the stench of failure over the last 5 years and we just need as many of those out. Financially of course as well.

Somebody send Derby all those cracking tackles of his in a compilation...

... without mentioning all the times he'd lost the ball beforehand.
