we’ll win plenty this season

That would be nice as today was our 87th league game since the beginning of the 24/25 premier league season, we have won 18 of those games

Nah we're shit and embarrassing. #MartinOut 😂

The fact there are clearly solutions in this team to doing well in this league which Martin isnt using is not in Martin's favour.

We (MK) won’t play that negatively again in many other games. It felt like we settled for a draw from the first minute knowing that you didn’t have much to worry us in attack. If we started our sub RWB who can actually cross a ball then half time is a much different story too.

A poor day at the office from both sides I would say, though I was very pleased with our goalkeeper and largely pleased with the defence, while you can be pleased with the level of control.

And which clear solutions would they be? Solutions that would categorically have altered the result today to get us the 3 points.

So name a chance other than Reid that would be defined as a clear cut chance.

I’ll wait patiently 🤓

Cullen having the ball 6 yards out in the centre of the goal and mis-controlling it was a pretty clear cut chance, to all intents and purposes.

Nah, wait impatiently, why change the habit of a lifetime? 😂

Need to win 30 out of our next 43 now. How many has Martin won in his last 43?

This is what people are overlooking.

Its going to take a run similar to what RM did with Soton 23/24 with arguably the best championship squad in history.

20% win rate (1 in 5).

Apply that to this season that's about 10 wins, if you're being kind.

2 goals and 2 points from 3 league one games against two promoted teams from the 4th division is grotesque

Ungrateful as ****. Won possession in every game with an average of 73%.

With this club on such a downward spiral, they just had to find a pragmatic manager who by hook or by crook would eke out results early doors, to start to get confidence back amongst the players, fans etc. Not an inflexible single system fanatic like Martin.

We're in Division 1 for God's sake. Surely it shouldn't be that difficult to see that.

You start badly on the back of what has happened in the recent past, then it's gonna be bloody hard to get any positivity around the place and the danger is that the doom cycle just snowballs.

That's City.

I don’t understand the personal dig but let me guess, you’ve not played football yourself much?!

I dislike Cullen more than most, that wasn’t a heavy touch, that was a ball being fizzed in to him (to a player low on confidence), who should have just put his laces through it first time.

The other countless chances that we created though?

I’d genuinely say the next best chance in the game, was after Souttar lunged in and their cutback was shocking.

Russell has a career win ratio of 38%, so we'll be lucky to win 17/18 games

Yes if you want to win the league, was anyone genuinely thinking we would win the league? You need 19 to 24 wins to get playoffs, we have won 18 in the last 87, 6 in the Premier league and 12 in the Championship

Based on the last 3 seasons in league 1 that’s relegation form

Absolutely wild that anyone still defends this utter shambles. We've played 3 teams, that will more than likely get relegated this season, and got 2 points. 70%+ possession every game while not scoring is not acceptable. Most people knew when we hired Martin how this would go, and we are being proven right. Part of me wants to wait until the transfer window closes so he has his squad and kicks on but I just done see us kicking on. We'll continue to have 70%+ possession and keep pissing about at the back and continue to not win many games!

I was frustrated earlier with not converting all these chances. On another day they could've had 3 maybe 4. The only criminal miss was BDCR's early doors. At least it was a much better team performance and on that showing, the goals should come. Just bloody start Alves and Bristric on Tuesday not Reid fgs. One surprise for me is that Thomas looks better in this position than at full back. probably only temporary but fair play.
