Not sure we are move on our crap to bring in more crap.

We've got to hope it's a sensible wage for a year but this is why I find it easy to perpetuate my anger at this football club.

Why can't we finally sign a veteran and them lead by example for us. It defies science how long it's been since we have.

I'm not sure he will be cheap.

On a free - wages won’t be cheap cheap but miles cheaper than hamza

Had a relative in the ill-fated Liverpool based scripted reality show Desperate Scousewives if I recall

Was that relative his actual wife?

I don't hate it, as long as it's only a year with an additional years option and wages are sensible. I realise how outrageous that sounds with us though.

Reckon half of us on the forum have probably typed this exact statement over the past year or 2 lol

Always thought he's a slow clogger, but he might be what we need in the middle right now.

A nasty bastard who stops the opposition playing and gets the ball to the young lads who can run.

Like the role I play at 5-a-side these days :D

Led Hull to promotion last season too on loan, as good as we could have hoped for really - 1 year or max 2 year deal

Trabzonspor signed him as their big statement signing of 2025, brave to assume hes going to be on low wages

Well he didn't "lead Hull to promotion". He played about 15 games and was then publicly called out by the owner . Didn't play in any of the play offs.

Oliver Skipp played 45 times for a Norwich side that won the Championship.

It's funny how everyone knows a big issue has been signing aging players yet as soon as we're linked with more people fall for it all over again.

Providing we aren’t overpaying him then this isn’t terrible as long as he doesn’t limit Page and Braybrookes game time.

Thats if page is still here come midnight. I don’t think he will.

Leicester close to agreeing Lundstram deal

Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:

Leicester City are closing in on the signing of Trabzonspor midfielder John Lundstram.

Sky Sports News understands the clubs have agreed a small fee for the 32-year-old, who has entered the last year of his contract.

The former Sheffield United and Rangers player moved to Turkey two years, but spent last season on loan at Hull City.

We’re skint and can’t pay a transfer fee, who who we expecting to sign? Rodri?

Weird, I didn't say anything about the transfer fee. I can still criticise free transfers and free transfers can still be rubbish.

Old, expensive and on a downward trajectory is exactly we we need in there. Sign him up Jon!

An experienced midfielder was always going to come in today to replace Hamza.

The list of possibilities were meh. not overly surprised it’s ended up being Lundstram.

Same deal as Wes Burns incoming!

We don’t know wages yet, I’m expecting him to be one of our better midfielders this season

We don't truly know any of the players wages, but we can still make fairly decent guesses and this bloke isn't going to be on a pittance after leaving 1 of the bigger teams in Turkey.
