Alves starting is a big positive for me. Was the best player vs Burton but lacked quality around him. 

 

Hopefully Howell plays like he did vs Ipswich. 

 

The downside is still Reid starting.

Don’t mind it tbh. Yes Reid is still in but at least it’s not at the expense of a N9, and he arguably offers more based on current evidence than Cullen in that position. Obviously rather see Kanga than LT but he hasn’t done bad in that position. Good to see Howell, Page and Alves starting.

He was never going to change the back line having finally kept a clean sheet.

BDR was a bit inevitable unfortunately with skipp suspended and Chaplin injured.

If we're going to play Reid at all that's probably his least offensive position. He's better than Cullen.

 

Rest of the team is really strong, playing our most inform wingers and starting with a real striker up top.
