Did any media ask why he wasn't in the squad?

If he was left out for anything other than injury then it's ironic the club site posted this the other week 😂 https://www.lcfc.com/media-article/happy-to-feel-wanted-joseph-on-his-future-as-a-fox

Always amazes me how the media (particularly local) never ask the pertinent/relevant questions.

It's like the club have got them toeing the line or they'll be banned. Propaganda North Korea style.

How much are we paying our groundsmen, physios, doctor and sports scientists?

Or do we just produce/purchase players made of glass?

I do think our fitness / sport science team is shocking

For years the players have always looked lethargic - no doubt some of them were half arsing it, but even the ones actually trying looked knackered quickly

He missed a few months with Tranmere last season with an ankle injury and did his recovery back with us

It really is a shame as he has been good but at least it gives a chance for Aluko to have a proper good run

Wes Burns right back pending

Shame he’s out, probably been our best player so far this season? Or Page

Probably most consistent. Would throw in Alves too just needs the end product or people to actually convert the chances, but the game has changed when he's been on or been hooked

Hm, I don't know.

Shows some good movement, and good bits of skill at times, but not very much in the way of end product - Which is ultimately what matters.

He would still be in my starting line up, don't get me wrong. But are we saying he's been good, or has he just been a bit better than the absolute dross surrounding him?

I think, the arrival of Riis will be a big positive for him. If those two can gel, i reckon they'll cook.

Alves has been one of our better players but like you say the end product is what’s holding him back.

Should've scored at Barnsley and put it on a plate for Cullen which is out of his control to be fair.

He needs a game where he gets a goal & assist or a brace just to get going. Fingers crossed it’s today.
