A bit of pace and this is dealt with easily. Its completely embarrassing. But yeah, blame the kids. Blimey, their CF definitely out ran Souttar there didn’t he! ( but like that goal away when HS held his hand up for offside and didn’t try to react.)
FoxinNotts Posted 8 September Posted 8 September Would like to see if this would work? Have to shuffle the defence around, big time. Can Coulibaly do a better job of covering for Alves? Better than McFarlane and Thomas? - Give it a go All the number 10s look either complete shite or no where near fit - drop them! Play a proper CDM in front of the back four - Lundstram McCarthy. Aluko O'Hora Souttar. Coulibaly. Lundstram Braybrooke Page Howell Riis. Alves 1
LVFox Posted 8 September Posted 8 September (edited) This will be awful - I was optimistic pre-Oxford. Stockport will annihilate us McCarthy Aluko Souttar O'Hora Thomas Lundstrom Braybrooke Page Joseph Alves Riis Edited 8 September by LVFox

Priority number one for a defender: defend. Edited 8 September by kiddo Spelling 1
Rubbersoul Posted 8 September Posted 8 September Can’t even bring myself to do the Bob Reid joke anymore but will be hilarious when he’s announced in the starting 11

This is where Coaching comes into it, Teaching them when to go and when to sit by reading the oppositions tactics and positioning. It's even more of a problem when our CB is so slow. Their young and will learn but maybe until we get a grip in games they should sit a litte more deep closing off channels and marking players. 1

Yes Martin can tell them till he’s blue in the face in training and he could even go up and down his box instructing the near side FB like I think Rodgers did with Chiwell was it? But the FB has to actually do it & build up a sixth sense. I know if Martin was to do this or completely have them rigid he’ll be pinged for coaching the attack out of them. Again not sticking up for Martin I want him gone like everyone else but young players will always make mistakes & need guiding but at the same time have to take some of the accountability. 1

Sadly, if you go back a few frame, guess who is playing the winger onside?
Swalker Posted 8 September Posted 8 September I’ve got a horrible feeling he’s going to bring back Faes on Saturday
Cropwellfox Posted 8 September Posted 8 September 11 minutes ago, Swalker said: I’ve got a horrible feeling he’s going to bring back Faes on Saturday Think it’s highly likely. Which means one of the two CBs he’s bought in doesn’t get near the team. The downward spiral continues, not a chance we get a positive result on Saturday and things then run the risk of completely imploding.

And I’ve had it on fairly good authority he didn’t want Kanga, he was signed by the recruitment team, so he won’t get anywhere near the squad whilst Brussel is in charge. Same goes with Bristric, another signing by the recruitment team, but he’s had choice but to play him. 1

I mean you don't need a reliable source to guess him and Bristric were quite clearly club signings not Martin ones

Muzzy_no7 Posted 8 September Posted 8 September Still, source that he didn’t want Kanga? If it’s an educated guess just say😂
Cropwellfox Posted 8 September Posted 8 September 8 minutes ago, Tommy Fresh said: I mean you don't need a reliable source to guess him and Bristric were quite clearly club signings not Martin ones Yep it’s pretty clear who Martin has asked for and with the exception of O’Hora who we haven’t seen yet they’ve all been largely honking and a pile of fetid garbage.

Pliskin Posted 8 September Posted 8 September They’re a decent team….. we’ve lost to mostly shit so far this season, so chances are they will batter us. Tactically their manager will get the better of Martin, and they will just collectively want it more than us, their ground will be bouncing for this…. We will fold like a broken Benidorm deckchair…… 1
Will1981 Posted 8 September Posted 8 September Martin will probably go with more experience McCarthy Joseph - Souttar - O'Hora - Thomas Lundstrom Burns - BDCR - Cullen - Alves Riis.

I think this too, but, to be absolutely wild, I think he will play Faes at left back….. don’t know why, but I have a feeling he’s gonna pull something beyond stupid.
