McCarthy

Joseph

O’Hora

Faes

McFarlane

Braybrooke

Chaplin

Lundstram

Howell

Riis

Alves

As honking as that is its probably out best line up.

I'd probably go Page over Chaplin. And would love to see the Finnish lad at CB.

Also under 99% of professional managers, that team would be comfortably capable of beating any team at this level.

Hopefully no Burns, Reid and Thomas.  I’m expecting them to start and to play exactly the same way but a lot slower.

If Luke Thomas is at CB on the halfway line playing the Enzo ball then it is going to be a long afternoon.

We need the players to have some sort of pride in themselves if not for the club and fans, heart and footballing intellect.

Press until they reach the player, try to force them to make a mistake like they do to us. Try to put crosses in quickly rather than overplaying and hesitating then taking the cowards pass backwards.

Nothing will change because a statistical failure can’t change.

Nothing will change whilst we overplay.

The opposition get set and absorb anything we throw at them. They then counter attack our slow high line. They also close us down whilst we are playing out.

We are so predictable Top and Rudkin must really dislike the club ,no other explanation for such a shocking appointment.

It’s 2026 and we are watching Luke Thomas, a player who can’t pass to his left, play CB and the main focal point for precision Enzo ball passing. Then also jealous of Oxford who could pass it around the back quickly, avoid getting the keeper involved and ping it to a winger to break at speed with ease.

But not a tactical change.

The best tactical change would be a new manager at this point ..

The russell Martin experience has run its course

The epitome of our demise is that we are now viewing Stockport County away as an almost certain loss and a really hard game. Get your head around that! Stockport. Stockport County!!!

As the old saying goes.

You're as good as your last game. Sadly that defeat says anyone in the league can feel confident. Also the prem title is now a curse as everyone is up for beating us.

Fully expect to see all the 'experience' start given his comments after Oxford.  Cullen, Chaplin, Burns, Bobby, Thomas - maybe even Faes, O'Hora and Lundstram.  I'm ready for it to be grim viewing.

Or he looks to bring experience on in the game, either way I do think our young players will be the victims of our under performance but quickly it will be evident that the experienced players offer zero improvement.

Dont get the call for 3 at the back with wing backs. All that would happen is we have an extra man at the back to sideways pass to. Often we will be up against teams who play 1 up front and 3 centre backs is too much.

Also, our players already lack fitness and would be too much for the two young lads there to provide width in attacks and defend as well. They would eventually fall further back in to a 5. Wing backs leave pockets of space for wingers to exploit that we have fallen foul to in the past.

Alves also would lose a key portion of his game in the 10. He's not a a Maddison type player who likes to receive it on the half turn. He's better when he comes off the wing and builds up speed and momentum whilst running enabling him to go past players, akin to Harvey Barnes.

Yeah i thought the same.

Going with a back 3 while we play this style would result in even more painful viewing as far as i can see.

Also were absolutely stacked with attacking mids and wide forwards.

Who gives a shit.  Just get these embarrassing losses out of the way then we can sack the twat.  Only then can we even dream of enjoying anything at the weekends.

Well no, as they'll just hire another incompetent like they have been doing for years now.

6 of the last 7 appointments have been dogshit. What makes you think they'll get it right the 8th time?
