Fazzer 7 Posted 7 September Posted 7 September By our current standards these are a decent outfit, Comfortable win for the Hatters. 2-0
StevieH Posted 7 September Posted 7 September I think there will be alot of changes for this game. Put it this way there HAS to be changes. 1 or 2 changes a centre back with O'Hora coming in. Thomas moving to left back. Chaplin back if fit. Would like to see Lundstram in midfield to add bite but not sure about his fitness. Riis to stay upfront. BDCR dropped. Drop Burns as he's doing nothing. Think Martin will be given until end of October to prove himself.

Get your head around that! Stockport. Stockport County!!! Timely reminder that Stockport were in the National League North as we were winning the PL….. No decline to see her though guys, all normal!
Chicken Nugent Posted 7 September Posted 7 September I expect a loss and our subsequent descent into a relegation battle 1

Sideways and backwards everywhere we go the most boring insipid football I've ever seen I thought Enzo ball was a bit tedious, but this is a whole new level of clueless. Brussel is a chancer with no clue at all. Fair play, done well, made himself a millionaire from abject failure. 1
Popular Post RonnieTodger Posted 7 September Popular Post Posted 7 September McFarlane should play. The lad is 19 and will get better. God knows we’ve seen enough of Luke Thomas. 5

Picks a football style that keeps him in the news, little interest in winning games. Knows he’ll be gone soon but talks such a good talk someone with a cheque book around him soon. Seems to hoodwink players too into liking him and signing for him no idea how. Total charlatan

I do think we got found out though, but we had enough within us to get through it. But I always felt Enzo and the team had control of the situation (apart from Leeds and Ipswich) and could adapt but by bit. Martin is the GenAI version. Takes the cliched components of it and just double downs on everything. More more more with no turning back. Like a shite chef who just carries on adding salt, because he heard it gives more flavour. No substance. Complete fraud. The thing is he is a fraud who talks a good game. Those who work with him seem to like him, although I don’t actually think that’s a good trait. Chelmofox Posted 7 September Posted 7 September The move for the 1st goal. How the f4ck do we end up with the slowest Center Back in the world again. A bit of pace and this is dealt with easily. Its completely embarrassing. But yeah, blame the kids. 4
OadbyBlue Posted 8 September Posted 8 September McCarthy Joseph O’hora Kanga McFarlane Braybrooke Doyle Lundstram Howell Riis Alves 2

Kangasniemi will be on the bench. Thomas will move to left back, Lundstram will probably replace Page and Chaplin will replace BDCR. The rest the same as against Oxford. 3

CosbehFox Posted 8 September Posted 8 September NTT Pod rates Stockport as the best of the division after 5 games. High possession stats but they like to mix it up with Wootton up front.

He can’t defend and doesn’t want to pass to the left winger which is a waste for Alves. Thomas can’t help but slow everything down only to pass it backwards. We need the ball kept away from the back, not our own players creating the problems. It also doesn’t matter the number of changes if the style is the same but his hubris won’t allow it. Martin will be given too long and not change anything tactically other than rotate players.

Rotating the clowns to make the same mistakes and control the game poorly, just a few metres to the left. 1

Which is very damning on a "captain". 2
Pliskin Posted 8 September Posted 8 September Could be 5 or 6 this, they’ve got a half decent striker, and we will present him with hat fulls of chances! 1
