They deserve every pile on they get. Nothing they have achieved is impressive. Its all built on money. That's why our title was special. Even a cursory look at their finances tell you its a complete sham.

Ours was the only title not built on money in the Premier league era. We also had the lowest wage bill of any Premier league champion since 1995.

The owners have built schools, colleges and created 740 jobs in and around the Etihad.

Do the anti City people on here want all this investment and jobs to go? Or is this investment okay?

Every thought they've specifically done that so that when they're caught they'll get away with it?

It's classic sportswashing.

Honestly I want them to go down to the National League, but I doubt they'll even be relegated. The 2nd best option is watching them win the league this year, as it'll wind up all the other top teams.

Clubs should just be allowed to spend whatever they want, it's a farce.

So presumably all the jobs and colleges should go?

How do you know that King Power haven’t been funded by the Thai government?

The PL have ensured that the red cartel can spend as much as they want. Much to the detriment of LCFC who tried to keep up with them.

Currently Man Utd are in a billion pounds of debt.

We had to cancel our stadium upgrade, arena, hotel and residential tower that would have brought money and jobs to the city. Why does Manchester get to benefit from unprecedented generational cheating when our own economy has suffered?

I'm thinking the EPL are right now trying to find a way to give sham city the smallest possible sanction whilst still trying to retain a tiny amount of credibility.

The political interference is clearly in overdrive, and as big money is at stake (the be all and end all in football), I expect wrists will be gently slapped.

What would your punishment be for Man City?

Part of this can be attributed to the red cartel manipulating the PL. They bought in FFP and PSR so clubs like LCFC wouldn’t be able to compete.

The PL chairman is none other than an ex Liverpool head honcho.

Sorry but it was cancelled because our owners are inept, investment into infrastructure didn't count towards ffp and instead of building something that would improve revenue, infrastructure and jobs they decided to spunk 100m on a vanity project. Can't really have a go at Man City when we had the plans approved but the mings in charge decided not to pursue it

To be fair, Man City kind of doubled down. Remember who the current owners bought the club from?

Thank God our club has no connection to such high-up crooks

I’m not convinced they’re guilty.

Wow, OK. I guess we will see how the appeal goes, but I'd be surprised if those three ex judges got much wrong, and it seems like the new tactic City are going for, is already contradicting their previous statements and evidence submitted, i.e they are trying to lie themselves out of their previous lies...

Personally, I would put them in League 2 if their appeal is unsuccessful, on top of a hefty fine and transfer ban. That will be the least of their worries though, as other clubs will be suing them relentlessly over the coming months and years.

And I've never once commented on the "achievements" of those Chelsea teams either.

Man city are cheats and rightfully found guilty.

Throw the book at them. If they dont, every EPL club or EFL club impacted by the cheating should threaten to not play if man city isn't charged according the the severity of their charges.

Actually, how about all teams refuse to play Man City?  They'd win every game 3-0 by default and the Premier League would have the embarrassment of awarding the title to a team who haven't kicked a ball all season.

That would be could be extremely damaging for the EPL from a sporting integrity point of view... Everyone would be playing to finish second, not win.

And Man City's players would all get fat because they won't be playing.

The worst part of all this is the red cartel suing City and making themselves stronger to the detriment of the league.

Whatever people thing of City the football operations has been exemplary.

Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal had such a head start over City, and they effectively set each of those clubs back by 20 years, which has been fantastic for the league.

The only thing I want to come out of this is the destruction of the Premier League, their greed has ruined football, it's one of the most corrupt sports going.

I’m king power out mate. I’m not sitting here pretending criminals should get a pardon because they are handing cash out to make friends. It’s sports washing whether you like it or not and shouldn’t be used as some lame argument for letting anyone off breaking rules.

Unfortunately your logic here means you can never question or punish any rich people.

Even if you believe they do these things out of the goodness of their own hearts (😂) - which surely no one over the age of 12 would believe - it’s simply irrelevant to the situation at hand. As is whether you think the rules are fair.

I don’t understand why there’s any debate here. If teams that go into admin get 20, 30 points deductions - as they have done in the past - financial cheating on this scale has to result in a much, much larger punishment than that.

People say ‘the game’s gone’ a lot but if that doesn’t happen then the game is absolutely gone and no one should give it any more of their time.
