Other than Saturday I think he's been in decent form recently. Completley agree with Bobby Reid though. I just don't understand where his position is supposed to be. He cannot play. Would much rather play Chaplin or Doyle. 1
cruzFOX Posted 13 October Posted 13 October Martin’s interview was riddled with contradictions. Seems like he’s struggling to figure out why the team is not performing to his liking. He mentioned nervousness, experienced and inexperienced, young team, not gelled enough, need more time and patience, no quick fixes. So many excuses! He has had a state of the art training field and lots of time to get results. All we are getting is shambolic losses or a few draws. its just doesn’t add up. Something is wrong behind the scenes. We need a whistle blower 1
adejo92 Posted 13 October Posted 13 October (edited) Hope we get stuffed. Short term pain for long term gain is my theory. Edited 13 October by adejo92

Basically that means we add 10 passes to the previous streak record of 37 #progress Only one sideways pass followed by forward passes ... or you benched .... anyone passing back will be beheaded... simple enough rules to understand 1

oldbluefox Posted 13 October Posted 13 October With Martinball we play into the opposition's hands every time. We are so slow and indecisive passing the ball around the back and looking at each other it gives the opposition time to get men back, organise themselves and wait for us to make a mistake. The problem is there is no threat from our play. We don't play into space, we play to feet so we are easy to defend against. I feel sorry for the likes of Riis and Page who move into promising positions hoping to benefit from the ball put through only to find it goes back out again and the chance is lost. Burns has taken a lot of stick but how many times was the ball pushed through inside the full back for him to run onto. I can tell you - none!! This is for Martin to sort out because it is not working and never will be. Doncaster will adopt the same tactics against us as all the other teams knowing we will not play the ball with speed and determination and they will man mark knowing it will invariably be passed to feet. 2

We need a whistle blower Simple,we underestimated league one, appointed an idiot idealist manager, who signed players who are on the decline or just poor.We over estimated our academy prospects. The idiot cant geta tune out of them. They are not working hard enough and they are collectively not good enough .The players are over privileged and don't deserve to be training at seagrave Hall Spa and resort. The owner and senior Executives have made a massive mistake putting our once great club in the hands of this fraud. They don't know what to do now without being seen to have failed also the financial ramifications that go with it. In a nutshell: Crap owner Useless senior directors Hopeless deluded manager Poor and/or lazy players. Edited 13 October by cropstonfox 1

Not far off the bums on seats for the Peterbro game then. I reckon with Doncaster bringing around 1,500 the real attendance this Sat will be 18-19,000. 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 14 October Posted 14 October McCarthy Coulibaly Souttar Kanga Macfarlane Page Lundstram Alves Howell Riis Watson Braybrooke, Bristric, Aluko, Smallbone and Chaplin/Doyle off the bench. LT has absolutely no place but we all know he will somehow be the first name on the team sheet.
