We absolutely deserved to lose, the first half we could have easily been 3-1 down. 2nd half we did absolutely **** all til the last 10/15 minutes and our goal came from a half chance at best. Even after we scored it was obvious with 7 mins added we wouldn’t hold out

Try and take the emotion out of it for one. Why an earth is he making that challenge, in that area of the pitch, when on a booking? It was only ever going to end one way, and that was with him getting booked for it, regardless of whether he got the ball. If you think he was ever going to get away with it, then I don't think you understand modern football.

 

And then don't make assumptions about where I'm placing the blame. He was a big factor in it because he was absolutely shite from start to finish, that was just the icing on the cake. But he wasn't alone in that. Some absolutely crap performances out there from O'Hora, Okoli etc. Said that the system is not the long term answer for us and that's been proven today. Dreadful performance and we deserved to lose.
