The problem is, the list of players that shouldn't be starting is getting that big that we can barely pick a competent 11. I wouldn't be picking Aluko, hes been honking this season but agree about Joseph and Kanga

Debatable… they had more fortune than us. We were shit first half gifted them the lead, second a bit better and the ref certainly didn’t help matters.. to call either side decent is pushing it though

Very poor referee today. A real home ground ref who was their best defender with three interceptions. No yellows for Luton either. Luton are turgid shit but even shit teams know that Okoli will gift you the ball at some stage. He should never ever play for us again. How many points has he cost us?
Still we Should have held out for a point though which would have been a fair result.

Ironically he’s done including ours 5 games this season, 21 yellows 3 red cards, the 2 other reds have been for the home team, his stats suggest he favors the away team

 

The home team commits 9 fouls per yellow card and the away team 14 fouls per yellow card although out of the 5 games the away team has only won once

I mean it was clearly a joke  I even said in the thread it was the right decision. Although it’s come out after the game that the Lino didn’t see it and the ref made the decision. Yet was happy to initially award the goal.

Luton had some massive chances, we shouldn't compare ourselves to a team like Luton.

We lost but still our motm was our GK. Luton had a simple gameplan, press us high, and wait for us to cough the ball up. Akoli obliged but even our CM of Lundstram and Page were poor. Alves was our most creative player, but the pressure on him to get back and defend and then go forward is too much. He'll get burnt out playing that way every 3 days.

Okoli had plenty of space and time once he received the ball. 

 

Dallied on it, and then got his feet into a middle. 

 

If it was a one off from Okoli I don't think he'd be having such a hard time. But it's not, and he's always got a mistake in him pretty much every time he plays. Be it caught in possession or gifting possession away with shite passing.

Yeah if that's playing Okoli in to trouble he shouldn't be playing at any level
