Sly Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 Born in York but I support Leicester. I have actually lived in Leicestershire for my entire memorable life however!! The majority of my family support Liverpool for some reason, my brother in law supports Newcastle, then my Dad and I follow Leicester!! The first live matches I actually witnessed as a child (maybe around 7 years old) were at the Nou Camp watching Barcelona, my lad purchased me the Barcelona strip as well, so that was my first strip. So I do vaguely keep my eye on them, more as a passing interest. I had a phase with Spurs and like Barca, will always pay attention to the club and it's news. My first Leicester game was the match against Oxford when we faced relegation, I've followed us ever since that game.
Fosse Boy Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 Born in Ashford (Kent)Live in Bedford. Why Leicester then?
ousefox Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 York and York My mums family are all from Leicester.
dimmerchant Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 Born in London, moved to Poland, now in Lough. Brought up a Man UTD fan, escaped and now support my local team.
Fox92 Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 I was born in Worksop and still live in Worksop. Support Leicester because my grandad worked for East Midlands ambulance service and he got two tickets for himself and my dad way back in the early 70's I think. Since about 1997 I would go to Filbert Street and watch Leicester. My first season ticket was in 2003/04 season although I rarley missed a match during the 2002/03 season. There isn't a lot of people who support Leicester in Worksop. Just a few.
MikeyT Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 Was born in Melton, but rushed to Leicester Royal infirmary to be put in an incubator to save my life. Support Leicester because it's the City i'm from.
Koke Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 Born in Wolverhampton, raised in Leicester. Moved around a fair bit but my first ever live game was at Filbo.

MC Prussian Posted 19 December 2009 Posted 19 December 2009 I have no direct ties with Leicester or Leicestershire whatsoever. I'm not even British. FIFA International Soccer '94 on the SNES featured Leicester and Ipswich as the two weakest Premier League teams, and I was sick of playing as one of the better clubs (which everyone else did). So, as a challenge, I chose Leicester. From thereon, and with the rise of the Internet, I started following the real team on a regular basis. Course I got laughed off by other football fans for not being a Glory Hunter. But it's stuck with me ever since and in 2003, I finally made my first trip to the Walkers; last home game in the Premier League vs. Pompey was the start of many trips to England in the past six years (with a slight break in between 2005 and 2006, when I was away in Canada). It's always a pleasure visiting the place and I've made a couple of really good friends over the years. Looking back at it, I'm glad I didn't become a Tractor Boy.

MC Prussian Posted 19 December 2009 Posted 19 December 2009 Nintendo and LCFC... my hero!! Well, that was before Sony and then Microsoft came along. Used to have a Dreamcast at one point, too.
z-layrex Posted 19 December 2009 Posted 19 December 2009 My mums side of the family all live in Coalville (I live in Brighton). My Grandad got me into football as a child and he was a city fan and so took me to see them play when we were up seeing them, only highlight to having to visit that horrible town (sorry any coalville people here ). He died last year and I havnt really been able to bear to go to a game without him since. Going to see the palace game in march tho as london is local for me, all my mates are Palace and Millwall fans so hopefully someone will come with as I dont know any Leicester fans down here!
