He'll do whatever makes the most money!

Run a competition amongst the fans to design and manufacture the kit with the promise of a free pair of season tickets for the winning enterprise. ;)

We already have a winner, though, really:

Home Shirt 07/09 (note the return of the 2-year cycle) lol

The club will be operating a strict 'bring your own shorts and socks policy for the players.

Phased or whatever people dipped in there pockets.... and its sounds as if Mandy has long pockets and short arms if its phased!

Assuming this then The Trust Board will come up with a range of options.

Any thoughts so far?

I say a permanent reminder of Dave Bassett a bronze statue, and when you go passed him he stutters and talks utter rubbish!

Surely the foxestalk gang could come up with a few ideas

* is it only current foxestrust member who get to vote? surely some people put monies in and have rights!!!!

Only current Trust members will have a vote

My uncle is a Liason Officer(a glorified steward) at the City and was around whilst the EGM was ongoing, and he told me today that Martin George walked out of the EGM because he was against Mandaric buying the club. This is not bull**** by the way.

Martin George what a plonker.

We shouldn't really comment on individual shareholders views, but feel we should correct an inaccruacy.

MG spoke in favour of moving to the next stage of the MM offer at the EGM and didn't leave until the meeting finished.

Thanks FT.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh...but my mates best friends' dads' dog bit the ankle of the postman who delivered letters to the mistress of Filbert Fox, and he said...

Is anyone else getting as sick and tired as I am? People "claiming" to have inside knowledge. Pah! Not ONE person posting on FT since the Madaric takeover rumour started has put up FACT from their own perspective.

Anyone posting has either been evasive, just indicating they know something that all of us thickies will find out later on how clever they were...or it is the dads' best mates half cousin who works in the gift shop/burger van/delivers the milk etc etc.

Read somewhere that MM wanted to have the deal sorted before the Derby game... is that even possible?

No.

He needs at least three weeks to study the books, and then submit a detailed bid.

The most likely date of the takeover is the week before the Barnsley game.

With a 30000 crowd pretty much guaranteed due to the cheap tickets, it's all set up..

Don’t cry for me Argentina

Ultra, you're alright. It's not nice the way everyone had bullied you over this.

You can come to the party too!

Could someone please, please, please stop Blanderson from referring to the takeover as a '25m' bid, his lack of understanding and/or ability to explain the basic points of the takeover is really starting to grate with me.

Today he writes about how JH at Wolves is offering MM a better deal but Saintly MM is sticking with City: http://www.thebluearmy.co.uk/details.asp?k...112006394097931

I sent them a letter re that very point, they published it and said they were printing only what they knew.

He was quoted on Sky Sports on saturday that he thought he could get it wrapped up by saturday. He then realised that it was almost impossible for that happen due to legalities, but he's obviously not too fussed about scrutinising the books if he thought he could get them checked and the bid accepted within 5 working days!!! :D

Its so annoyingly close... it's part of being a City supporter that the closer a game gets to it's end the more worried you get, especially if your winning :ph34r:

PS: I've seen Wolves come from behind and nick it before... I dont want it to happen again :(

Milan Mandaric hopes to complete his takeover of Leicester City by next week.

The former Portsmouth chairman's approach for The Foxes has been given the green-light by the club's board.

Leicester chairman Andrew Taylor has previously played down suggestions a quick deal could be done - but the club announced on Saturday that Mandaric was given permission to go over the books, and the American-based Serb is confident he will be in charge before next week's game with Derby County.

"Shareholders debated a number of issues in relation to generating increased investment into the football club and have therefore welcomed Mr Mandaric's approach," said the Leicester statement following an extraordinary meeting of shareholders at The Walkers Stadium.

"Milan Mandaric's approach has been given the green light and he will be granted access to the club's books for the period requested by him."

Mandaric was delighted with the news that he was now in line to take control.

"We still have a couple of hurdles to overcome," he told Sky Sports News.

"I am confident we will be there shortly and I look forward to be part of great footballing city in Leicester."

Mandaric admitted he would be looking to plough all his profits from the sale of Portsmouth into Leicester.

"I am not able to take this money back to America so I may as well put it in the right place and that is nowhere better than Leicester," he added.

Great news, i hope when the deal is completed everyone takes a step back and looks how lucky we are to have him here.

Be prepared to hear him on the media (like you didnt know that) he is a fans dream as a chairman...i will stand by him till the day he leaves us.

I remember hearing him on Talksport a lot during the Jim Smith issue, after everything he is genuine and likeable, even if it was the wrong decision

Bring on January...let the rumours commence in every newspaper over this land

LEICESTER ARE BACK LEICESTER ARE BACK HELLO HELLO LEICESTER ARE BACK LEICESTER ARE BACK HELLO HELLO!

We are a very very lucky club to have him want us. It's fantastic for the club and let's hope we can achieve great things with him in charge.

All they know is what was printed in a tabloid paper over three weeks ago? Pretty shoddy journalism, especially with information published on the FT website, on BBC Radio Leicester and even in a few of their articles which perhaps Bill was looking the other way for...

My suspicion is growing.
