Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 About time. Hope he does well and gets in the team a la O'Grady when he gets back. We need him to live up to his potential, goes without saying.
Fox in a Box Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 really , cant say that i care .... I dont rate him
Wils Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Hopefully he will do well there and get some confidence and experience.
marko Posted 6 September 2006 Author Posted 6 September 2006 really , cant say that i care .... I dont rate him Your in trouble with Thracian now
newms Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 can only be positive for both him and the club aslong as he shows the right attitude and doesnt act like he shouldnt have to turn out at that level
Master Fox Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Thracian will cream his pants when he hears this news
Daggers Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Leicester City defender Alan Sheehan has today joined League Tow outfit Mansfield Town for a one-month loan period. Was it written by someone from Northern Ireland?
Wils Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Thracian will cream his pants when he hears this news You bet he will !!!
Jimmy Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 its good news should help him regain form and confidence, and when he gets back (providing he does well) stand him in good stead to replace nils
Loake Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Pleased with this, he seems to have potential. Let's hope he develops while there.
Knighton Matt Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Excellent news. Does Dawson still play for Mansfield? Might have to start following their results now!
lookwhaticando Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Excellent news. Does Dawson still play for Mansfield? Might have to start following their results now! Yup. - he was essentially ever-present last season by the looks of it. 31 (9) appearances.
Strokes Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Good stuff, hopefully he will flourish and come back with a spring in his step.
Mark Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Good luck to him, it'll help that Peter Shirtliff knows him well. IF he does well there he must be given a chance to impress here. Matt Piper went on loan to Mansfield and it did him the world of good, hopefully we'll get a similar result to that out of this. He'll score a free kick on his debut.
Stevosevic Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 hes so over-rated, i just dont know where all the hype surrounding him has come from. League 2 is probably his standard.
Thracian Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 You bet he will !!! It's been on the cards and the sooner he moves on permanently the better as I said last year. If he's not already better than what we've got in that position he's never going to make it and if he is then he's never going to get past the Chosen Men. Shame if my view. By far the best attacking left back we have and I hope he quickly goes on to prove it somewhere where he's properly appreciated and where they actually value defenders who can pass and move cos they certainly don't have many at Leicester. With the transfer window having closed the management are obviously happy with what we've got at left back.Well they're easily pleased is all I can say cos it's a major weakness and it helps to stall the smoothness of the team. Pity they didn't sent the culprits out on loan or into exile, whichever they intend it to be. It's now we want a decent left-back not when it's too late. We'vealready given every team a voluntary six point start.

Head Honcho Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 really , cant say that i care .... I dont rate him You pillock! If this guy makes the grade and many think he will, he'll be an asset to the club, and you don't care No wonder we're skint If everybody had your laisser faire attitude towards the club, we'd have been out of business years ago! All the idiot's who come on here and say he's no good or I don't rate him! How many times have you seen him play? Once, twice, Three times. Unless your a regular down Belvoir Drive your really just jumping on the anti Sheehan bandwagon with no real argument as to why you don't rate him.

He's probably forgotten what a football looks like by now - at least a football in a match situation!.
Bert Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Let's face it, he isn't going to be playing at left back for us for a while. So rather than him doing nothing, it's better that he is out playing games.
lookwhaticando Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 He's probably forgotten what a football looks like by now - at least a football in a match situation!. Do match balls appear differently from non-match balls, or something? Are training ground balls egg-shaped?

The People's Hero Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Perhaps Mansfield's tea lady fell ill and Sheehan was seen as an ideal replacement?
