Rehan is superb

Madness he’s not in the test side it really is.

He needs to make a massive score, not just 100 and out. Bat out the day, double it up etc. But yeah from what I’ve seen he makes batting look very easy.

Only county attack, but he has so much time.

Can see why we batted first now, there’s a lot of turn.

Yep, three spinners bowled already before lunch on the first morning!

Wasn't able to watch much of the morning- what do we reckon is a good 1st innings score?

Meanwhile, Liam ****ing Dawson makes his return to the England side tomorrow after 8 years lol

Bizarrely, Rehan’s form with the bat has probably done him out of a place in the test side. Looking like a spinning all rounder as opposed to front line spin bowler

Now, with the batting we still have to come you need to be getting 350+

Kookaburra ball on a pitch doing little but spinning? I think 450+ is a minimum.

Try to do what Middlesex did against us - get a huge score to put scoreboard pressure on them. We know Madsen will get 100 at least so we need as many as possible.

Glamorgan all over Kent... we could probably do with a win here to cement our place at top.

If we won this we’d be around 50 points clear of 3rd with 4 games to go. You could then afford to draw every game, even lose a couple provided it’s not too catastrophic. That’s how big this game is.

Already 232/3, so agree that 450 is what we should be aiming for. Nothing much in this for the seamers now the ball has gone soft.

A win would be fantastic and basically confirms promotion, but it's a game we can't afford to lose. Especially now that Glamorgan look likely to win.

We do have to play Kent twice though and their season is in a mess.

If anything, what is happening with Glamorgan, and where we are in this match, the pressure is all on Derbyshire.

They do look an absolute shambles now- I know their attack was weakened by injuries early on but the batting now seems to be faltering.

Great recovery, amazing how long it takes for the scoreboard to recover after 2 ducks. If those 2 had made even starts we would be flying. This is easily our most important match so far. Results not really going our way so it’s a must win IMO. Cmon foxes.

It's not a must win if we pick up full bonus points and draw which will

 be 16 points

Yes it’s a must not lose.

It’s doing bits off the pitch now so having three spinners will be a godsend. We just need the runs to put the pressure on.
