Whatever happens this season its great to get a win on the board as they are hard to come by.

This thread is quite harsh sometimes but I think they've been relatively competitive so it's nice to get the win.

This sounds like a crazy stats considering we’re bottom, but we have the joint most batting bonus points in the league and only Notts have more bowling bonus points, so it’s clear we’re just not quite going the distance with teams.

A comprehensive win with little drama, very enjoyable.

It has been far too long since a Division One victory and it feels really good.

Excellent win. If you think, we had a few years where we didn't win a game in div 2, so to win by an innings in div 1 is not be sneezed at.

It's a shame though we won't have Rehan for long, it's clear England have no spin options which stand out and none of them can score first class hundreds so he's bound to get picked soon. Imagine him batting at 8 with Archer, Tongue, Stokes and Atkinson the seamers.

Alex Green is raw but looks to have a lot of talent, and the catching was brilliant, that Cox catch from the inside edge and the catch at leg slip last night were top class.

You heard he has now signed elsewhere?  As last week said counties are after him.

Heard rumours he's off to Warwickshire

Someone linked Cox to Warwickshire on here last week but thought Alex Davies was their number one who averages a bit more with the bat and is a couple of years younger. Maybe it comes down to finances but hopefully we can sort him a deal

He'll be 35 by the start of next season, so there may be a limit to what we offer him and how long for. Still looks to have some cricket in him though. John Simpson is nearly 38 and still going strong for Sussex, Chris Cooke is 40 at Glamorgan.

Word around the ground yesterday that Cox will be leaving at the end of the season.Understand the relationship between Cox and Thomas hasn't been mended since Thomas criticised Cox on RL for scoring too slowly In a T20 match this season.

Another rumours is that he will be going back Worcs.Roderick possibly moving back to South Africa

Not sure it's about age. He's younger then  many in the squad.

One huge negative from yesterday and highly embarrassing for the club.It was old players day and out of 55 invites only 3 turned up Barry Duddleston Tim Boon and Peter Willey.Sad and baffling that the club has such a bad relationship with former players.

Age is just a number. You only have to watch him throwing himself around behind the stumps to realise that he has a lot of cricket left in him. He’s also up with the top run scorers for us in both competitions this year so why wouldn’t you offer him a new contract? We would miss him big time, but I wouldn’t blame him for moving back to Worcestershire. He never wanted to leave in the first place.

Thomas is strange in who he decides to berate publicly.
