Haha that's what I txt them back but it didn't sound great, police helping the parents with kids use different exits as it was going off in the stands aswell. Ah well brilliant result anyway

Was there tonight, absolutely brilliant atmosphere, went berserk when Akmal cleared the Fox Road Stand for the second time.

Trouble started when Akmal started hitting in the last over and a Notts fan got hit with a bottle that was thrown, stupid to say the least, and signalled up to us at the top of the stand at which point couple of the Leicestershire fans ran down and it started to kick off on the steps. Probably only lasted about 10 seconds but was totally unnecessary and put a dampener on the evening because the banter between the fans had been really good up until then.

Surrey are currently 145-7, 2 wickets a piece so far for McKay, Shreck & Raine and one for Taylor.

If we can restrict these to about 230 or less, I believe we have a chance.

Mixed reaction really, would've taken that at 82-0 but not 145-7. However, it's not an insurmountable total and if we can get a first innings lead then we should be confident.

Wicket not doing that much apparently. Lets see what happens but we are knocking teams over with the ball for the first time in ages

It's quite incredible to be 100-0 and to end up bowled out for 190.

Not when you're Leicestershire it's not! Sadly it looks nailed on that we'll lose this now. Still, we are at least competitive and have twice been in great positions against a team with ten times our budget.
