We need a new coach, a new batting coach, and then we need to get about 10 players off the payroll and try and recruit about 4 more experienced players. We also need to be clear who is in charge of recruitment. To stand a chance of scraping ourselves of the bottom we have to recruit so much better than we have done. Our standards are so low. Players like Lilley, Rhodes and others are simply not good enough. I feel both sadness and some anger about out plight.

Agree with all of this. 

 

Out of our entire (bloated) squad, how many are truly good enough: Azad, Ackermann (and his form is real worry), Hill, Wright, Parky and Naveen? Ahmed is hugely promising but it's still very early days for him. Beyond that, who can we rely on to be consistently good?

I feel so sad for us. We have a better following than Derbyshire and yet we can't even get near them.
