Can't imagine he's any better then the 150 bowlers we already have.2 year contact they never learn why not until the end of the season to see if he's any good?

Good to have a quick left armer, unproven at County level though. Hope he does well

2 year deal is definitely a gamble, if he’s not up to it we have another seamer getting paid to kick his heels, at least his wages won’t be too expensive.

Seems he was on trial with Derbyshire most recently. 
 

Has he played any second XI games for us? Seems odd getting a two year deal with no sign of any game time for the 2nd’s

 

Must be encouraging for some in minor counties though if a 27 year old is getting a 2 year deal with a county.

If we're looking at minor county players them George Hargrave looked very good when he came up against Derbyshire. Opened the batting and scored a run a ball 60 odd with nobody else getting above 5 in a score of 80 or something like that.

It's not exactly brilliant for morale when someone gets straight in to the team from nowhere whilst there are plenty of options hanging around for a last chance.

 

Especially when he doesn't come off.

I know that Durham are absolute pony in white ball but Nico has to grow a big pair and freshen it up on Tuesday. Steel must come in for Patel. We can’t keep carrying him, Steel can hang around and put runs on the board. Don’t understand how Walker wasn’t selected either today, he can score runs and our tail started really high up the order today and it cost us. As for the new signing, I despair already. 
 

Has Griffiths left the club now? Let’s hope Hendricks and Scriven are back on Tuesday. Huge game!
