Indeed, 5 an over needed. Need Kimber to stick around

Run rate isn’t going to be a problem here. Just need one of these to bat deep and we should get home comfortably.

There is as an element that we've been weakened less by the Hundred than any other County, so it's levelled the playing field for us. But more positively, Hendricks has been as good with the white ball as he was poor with the red ball, Mulder has been in superb form, Wright has bowled well, and Kimber has batted, and more recently bowled, really well. Welch scored a good hundred earlier, but needs more runs now, and Patel badly needs runs. Young Swindells is finding some form too. But it's confidence too. Winning breeds confidence and belief.

I tried to listen to it in the car while driving. Was pointless.

As we play on Saturday we should have a much clearer idea of what’s needed to qualify, Middlesex play Warwickshire on Friday. That being said we need to smash Notts anyway
