Seems harsh. Too much tape apparently.

Still worry that they'll found a way to dock points from us again, to ruin our chances of qualifying in favour of a "more fashionable" county.

What a joke

One way the ECB and Sky are trying to avoid Leicestershire getting to the final

Utterly ****ing ridiculous, especially when Ackerman, Mike and Parkinson are sitting around doing nothing.

What’s the point in the competition? **** the ECB.

Completely ruining the game. Players sat about doing **** all and now they can steel potentially our best bowler right at the end of our competition. Cricket is finished for the likes of leicestershire in this country.

Counties don't help themselves actively promoting their players *playing for a different team* on social media either. Honestly totally fallen out of love with following any cricket other than Leicestershire since it was launched. I've just got no faith that the ECB are arsed about anything other than making money, all while year on year it gets more and more difficult for grassroots clubs to get 11 out every week.

I can only assume the counties are - as shareholders of this 100 - contracted to promote it.

Wouldn't it be nice for county to be the first to break ranks and openly call out the ECB from.within?

This is ridiculous at this stage of the RL competition. No doubt he'll just be sitting on their bench anyway. Will really miss him - and Scriven, assuming he'll be out injured for a bit. Will now be relying on Barnes, who was poor yesterday, and the likes of Walker or Davis. Will make our attack much weaker. And the group stage of this Hundred crap doesn't end until 31 August, so none of the 5 missing players will be back in time for the RL semis.

It's a joke. What's the point in us trying to achieve anything? Whenever we're to get a head of steam our players are poached without any compensation. We've built a cracking white ball side despite international call ups, ECB punishments and now the hundred ****ing us over.

We get some sort of recompense from the hundred but it's no good if that money is spent on players to get picked up franchises anyway, if they must take our players then we ought to be paid 50k per player or something meaningful for the club.

Supposedly Hendricks is just cover for two matches whilst Overton is with England so perhaps he'll be back in time for the knockout rounds though I haven't checked the dates.

The release by Leics says he’ll be back for Tuesday’s game after whatever bollocks he’s playing for’s game on Monday. We’ll see.

You are aware so far we have played and beaten Surrey who have 12 players in the hundred and Somerset and Warwickshire who both have 11.We play Notts Saturday who will be missing 10 players

I know it's not a situation unique to us but having players poached mid RLC when we're already under-resourced compared to the other counties makes it very difficult for us. Counties' with better players are worse affected by the hundred which is a leveller for us, that advantage disappears as soon as our good performers are whisked away. We've carried an injured (and expensive in all senses) Hendricks for months, at the first sign of a bit of form he's off.

We have loads of resources. Bowlers not currently playing include Davis, Walker, Bowley, Griffiths, Evans and Sikande.

Killing county cricket and no shame in it at all.

The counties should break away from this disgrace and do it on their own. The ECB have their plastic shit and leave the proper cricket alone.
