Finnegan Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 For the record, I'm not one of those people that are still sour about that. I hate him anyway, for the plenty of other above-mentioned reasons.
Leicfox Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Jesus christ And whats wrong with Grayson ? Apart from he's an up-comming manager with bags of potential, plays cracking attacking football, takes no bullshit and tells it like it is, and rememeber if he did come he'd hopefully bring Tony Parkes and Steve Thompson, both expierenced esp Parkes.
Finnegan Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 How many times have you actually sat and watched Blackpool play? Everyone always comes out with statements like "yeah, he plays really good attacking football" - I'm just curious to know, like, y'know - how do you know?

Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Warnock has certainly not "worked wonders" at Sheffield United. I will support my club but I will never sing his name.
Finnegan Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Plus, come on guys... I mean... he's from Yorkshire for God's sakes.
Webbo Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Plus, come on guys... I mean... he's from Yorkshire for God's sakes. you're from Wales, we've forgiven you.
Leicfox Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 The bottom line imo regarding Neil W slagging us off in our promoting/admin year is that he's the only one who had the balls to say what everyone else apart from us LCFC fans were thinking, Even Milan had a say he just wasn't quite as blunt.
Finnegan Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 That's different though. I mean the grudge you had with me was envy, with a Yorkshireman it's more minor disgust.
lookwhaticando Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 My my. This has gone from a storm in a tea cup to all out war of words between fellow fans! 15 pages of "oh fook he signed Akinbadbuy" and "oooh didn't he do well?" (Forsythe-style). It's certainly kept me entertained on a long boring afternoon dealing with fabric and leather! :D Cheers, guys.

Exactly, We (Me included)/Most of us were slagging Leeds off for going into Adminstration this season so they missed out on the 10 point deduction for next season, TBH for me it was to do with the fact I hate Leeds but stil doesn't change anything we slagged off Leeds for doing what they did and we did a similar thing in different circumstances. (The thing that pisses me off and I find really "immoral" is the fact they went into adminstration to write the debt off then hours later they were bought by the same chairman that took them into administration) Some people on here are as bad as Chris Kamara - One rule for one, another rule for someone else.
blueoverred Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 No ,surely not Colin ****er After all the mouthing he did about us when we went into administration. I would prefer Psycho Pearce

Matt Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 No ,surely not Colin ****erAfter all the mouthing he did about us when we went into administration. I would prefer Psycho Pearce But if you believe what you read on here apparently Pearce said he would never play for Leicester (Said summit like that anyway, If you read through the threads in here you'll find it) If he doesn't wanna play for us, I don't want him he mouthed off at us
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 There's a list as long as your average Thracian post of managers who have won promotion to the Premiership but would you want Peter Reid? Micky Adams? Nigel Worthington? Warnock is just another Graeme Souness, someone who trades on a lazy reputation as a passionate man. Two big, immobile strikers who are there primarily to act as targetmen for four hulking great defenders or as the first line of defence. Random team selections at the best of times. Falling out with players left, right and centre. Taking eight years to get promoted. Bottling the big games. Signing players over the age of 30 for seven figures on more than one occasion. Openly encouraging negative tactics, foul play and gamesmanship. Awful man-management. Generally being a massive Sheffield United fan who has just achieved all he can with the team of his dreams and now wants a plaything for a couple of years. How much passion and desire has he got left for a club he has always treated with derision? There is a reason why he is disliked by most Sheffield United fans.
shrood Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Warnock has certainly not "worked wonders" at Sheffield United.I will support my club but I will never sing his name. So hypothetically speaking, if he took us into the premiership in the first season you still wouldn't sing his name?! Because of some comments he made about us, which we probably would've said about any other club if it wasn't us?! Don't be silly.

If that's short enough for you!
shrood Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Who said it was because of some comments he made about us, which we probably would've said about any other club if it wasn't us? Well I don't see what other reason you'd have. You make some decent points about his managerial skills but IF he did succeed then that wouldn't be an isssue, so why? He's from Yorkshire? He complains a lot about referees? He's shagged your wife?
Dames Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 I don't get why people are defending this man ? He has an obvious disrespect for LCFC and hes so up his own arse its unreal. He has an AVERAGE Record at best. Theres plenty of other candidates that are miles better.
Jon the Hat Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Seems to pretty well sum him up. If that's short enough for you! It was until you said it twice!
Smudge Posted 16 May 2007 Posted 16 May 2007 Can someone tell me why this "rumour" has become so big. It was in the Yorkshire Post and a couple of mentions in FansFC.com other than that, nothing. No major newspaper, Sky Sports or BBC have suggested that this might be on the cards from what I've read.
