There is this £1.5M price tag that has been mentioned but is he worth it.

If you believe RedOnRed, there after in excess of £2mil!

...and no he's not worth it, and thankfully we're not interested by the sounds of it.

Are you sure that I said that we're after in excess of £2 million? With the best will in the world that would be pushing it a bit.

It's all brinksmanship, bluffing and trying to get each other over a barrel. Everyone knows the player doesn't want to stay and then there's a deadline to contend with.

Looks like the bluffing has backfired a bit. It seems like no one wants him now as he has been priced out of the market. You now have a want away player that you are stuck with who might have a bit of a bad attitude next season. Should do your promotion chances the power of good

I can't make my mind up what I want us to do... a strike force of Fryatt, Hume, Campbell and Mcleod would be great. I don't think you could keep all four happy though so one would have to make way unfortunately.

They dont get paid to be happy tho.

There needs to be what you might call 'too many' strikers so we have competition for places, injury cover etc. ideally competition for places even when strikers are injured.

Radio leicester didn't mention izale in the bit i heard.

Milan just said there will be 2 or 3 more players.

bbc gossip column reports this from the Mirror:

Norwich and Watford could battle it out for the services of Leicester striker Matty Fryatt. (Daily Mirror)

And from the Sun:

Andy Cole is ready to leave Portsmouth after being dumped for their trip to Hong Kong. (The Sun)

I'm frightened.

We were "reported" to be looking at bringing Cole here. It was in an earlier thread last week probably from TB or FR, someone reckoning that MA said they were looking at an ex Man U striker.

I'd rather have Jimmy Floyd than Andy Cole!

The latter being a complete waste of space and any songs sung about him are a waste of my valuable breath.

So, I hope we are NOT interested..

Milan? :dunno:

I was actually very impressed with him when we played Brum last year. To be honest, I wouldn't be overly disappointed if we signed him, and I'd certainly prefer him to JFH.

Seems odd that you lot should be more in favour of paying huge wages to forwards that'll bearly be able to play 90 minutes let alone score that many goals instead of going for youth.

We've got plenty of young strikers though. Fryatt is still only 21. Hume is only 23, plus we've just won the Academy League for the whole of the country where we scored about 100 goals in 25 games and in that side we have youngsters such as Odhiambo and McKay who are hightly thought of prospects. We've also signed a 17 year old striker from QPR who is another youngster who's scored about 30 goals a season for his academy side. So there's plenty of talent coming through in attack for us, an experienced striker is what's needed to keep things ticking over.

Am I detecting a hint of apathy over McLeod's seemingly never ending transfer saga?

Come on Master Fox it's riveting stuff this...

Please refer to my illustration previously exhibited in this thread, it just about sums what I think about this transfer saga.

Oh that. I dunno, you and your cryptic messages...I thought it was just a self portrait.

No I don't.

Are going to stop teasing me with your grammatical foreplay and reveal all?

One day he'll appear before you.

You may even see him tonight.

The uncovering to Wolfman's identity is closer than you think........
