Rasiak, Saga and probably a few more.They have some quality players out there that can be picked up on the cheap Agreed. Burley has a good record at signing foreign players. Even back to his Ipswich days he made some very shrewd foreign signings like Martin Reuser and Wilnis, etc. But getting in Reich, Bisgaard, Rasiak and Idiakez completely transformed Derby when he was there. All 4 of them were either free transfers or nominal fee's.

Southampton have exercised an option to buy Polish striker Marek Saganowski from Troyes fo £680,000, according to the French club's website.Saganowski, 28, arrived on loan at St Mary's in January's transfer window, and propelled Saints to the play-offs with 10 goals in 13 appearances. Saints negotiated a first-refusal option to make the loan permanent. Several clubs have expressed interest in Saganowski, who previously said he was keen to sign for Southampton.

I know the other thread was closed, but if you read the reports it never said he HAD signed for them just that Southampton had taken up the option to buy him. Didn't say he had agreed from what I remember reading!!!

RN Fox also said Allen was at the club on Friday signing someone else for us, but again no news there? I'm not doubting this chap as he got Cort and N'Gotty right early doors but i'd like to know what's happening. I'm not getting my hopes up with Saganowski, but i'd soil with excitement.
