Season Tickets Due For Delivery Shortly

Posted on: Fri 27 Jul 2007

The Leicester City Ticket Office can confirm that they are expecting delivery of season-ticket booklets this weekend and distribution will commence from Monday.

The club have been hit by a series of problems from the floods to the postal strike but are optimistic that delivery will be complete well in advance of the opening game against Blackpool on Saturday, August 11 at the Walkers Stadium.

A City spokesman said: "It's been a bit frustrating. Season-ticket booklets should have been delivered last month, but our printers in Sheffield suffered due to the unprecedented recent floods.

"This basically meant the relocation of all printing to another plant.

"But we have now been guaranteed delivery for this weekend and the Ticket Office will be working tirelessly to get them sorted and packaged, ready for distribution from Monday.

"We would like to thank our season-ticket holders for their patience," the spokesman added.

Oooh I can post the bodies of articles now- Firefox is so much better than IE...

I am sure there are reasons but perhaps someone would explain why we need to use a printer in Sheffield for something so basic as a season ticket booklet?

<h3 class="headline" id="headline">They're On Their Way! </h3>Posted on: Thu 02 Aug 2007The Leicester City ticket office have today confirmed that all 13,000 season tickets have now left the Walkers Stadium and will be with Foxes fans in plenty of time for the Championship opener against Blackpool on Saturday, August 11 (3pm).

Ticket office staff have worked round the clock over the past five days in order to package up season tickets ready to be sent to supporters. In fact, Martin Allen's playing squad also lent a helping hand on Monday ahead of the 'One Team - One Dream' event on the pitch.

A Club spokesman said: "We have been hit by all sorts of problems out of our control and we would like to thank our season ticket holders for their patience.

"Our ticket printers suffered in the floods, causing a complete re-print at the very last minute - plus there has been the postal strike to consider.

"However, we can now reveal that all 13,000 are now on their way. We would like to confirm that our booklets for 2008/09 will be sent to print in September, to eradicate any potential issues next year."

Meanwhile, match tickets for the Championship opener against Blackpool remain on general sale. CLICK HERE to secure your seats online now.

Hmmm, 13,000, thats 3,000 down on last year.

This after all of Allen's excitement about managing a team infront of 30,000, dont think he'll be doing that too often.

I thought we got 13,000 last year.
