Health experts warn about the dangers of the penis whitening craze in Thailand: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/penis-whitening-treatment-takes-thailand-by-storm-a3732671.html

I really hope that Top and his old man aren't caught up in all this and don't think they should offer us penis whitening as a matchday freebie.

Doughnuts and beer are much better options, Top, as Homer Simpson will gladly advise you.

Well, you should know! Was your avatar recorded pre- or post-whitening procedure. Homer looks alarmed. :D

As a deviation, a couple of months back a mate of mine asked me if I shaved my pubic hair (he's an oddbod).

Is that seriously a thing that some blokes do these days? Am I innocent or is he and/or the world weird?

I'm staying safely indoors on FT to avoid all this perversion.

Not any blokes that I know, though I understand it is de rigeur among young women these days.

Shave or trim? I'm not adverse to a bit pubic topiary mainly because it increases the chance of oral sex. If porn is anything to go by then I would say it is very common, in real life I dunno, I think manscaping is a thing, but I'm not going to google it at work.

Deaf women take daughters to concert and sue because nobody will sign the songs to them

The world's gone mad.

Why? The concert provider is legally obliged to provide facilities for disabled people, she thinks they failed in that respect.

Admittedly they did provide a sign interpreter for Little Mix and not for the support act and that is why she is complaining, but if they hadn't been so difficult in meeting their legal requirement it might not have been an issue.

It IS mad though. Yes, disabled people should not have to miss out on the same experiences as able bodied people, but this is a stretch too far. I feel for the deaf women in this case, but a bit of common sense is needed in these situations. Its a show based entirely on the music and singing. Being deaf she would have known what she was getting herself into. As bad as it sounds - You live by your means.

I have a physical disability, it means i cant do certain things like ice skating. Would it be reasonable for me to demand that a professional ice skater is provided to give me a piggy back ride around the rink?

But deaf people can experience music through vibrations; they can also experience a live performance visually, and having the words signed to them would enhance their understand of the rythm. Furthermore, who are you to judge what they can or cannot experience?

Years ago, I sat near a blind guy at Filbert St - he enjoyed singing and being part of the atmosphere, while his mate gave a running commentary of the action.

I'm not saying that the blind woman shouldn't be allowed to enjoy the experience, i'm just pointing out that she seemed to be expecting an unreasonable level of adjustment. She was offered the opportunity to take her own interpreter but she turned it down.

Your blind friend didn't expect the club to provide someone to give him a running commentary, he took it upon himself to take someone with him.

She was deaf - what she was expecting was that the organisers complied with the law.

The guy I referenced (not a friend) enjoyed being part of the atmosphere - I think the commentary was probably a bonus.
