Bryn Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Fooking robbed at the end mate! Hayles Gutted for Campbell, would have like to have seen him tuck that away, great run.
MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 *Merge threads* *Make love* *For you and for Hayles*
Moreton Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Hayles late goal clinches the victory for the foxes
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Leicester Leicesterrrr Leicester Leicester Leicesterrrr Leicester Leicester Leicesterrrr Leicester Leicester Leicesterrrr Leicester
MikeyT Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Well done lads!!! Unlucky for DJ right at the end there! Kis and Mcauley had really good games as well!! In ya face Warnock!!!
craigadams22 Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Good result tonight, I'm glad The Foxes won by 1 - 0 against Palace. And the Sky TV Camera's were there, all Leicester City need's now is to buy David Norris from Plymouth and our squad is complete oh and that Osbourne from Villa. When Villa can say that Leicester can have him that is. Regards Craig Adams 23 @ 2008
WetFlannel Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 A scrappy win was exactly what we needed... 3 points is all that matters at the moment
Monk Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Very pleased about the points but it sounded a poor game. 3 points on Saturday could see us reaching the dizzy heights of 10th (although unlikely). Good progress, keep it coming, but I will be very sure not to get carried away in blind optimism. The road ahead is still long, but we're clearly on the right one.
Stevosevic Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 About time we had some luck. 7 points from 9, a mini run appearing?
LeeCovFox Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Blackpool and Plymouth up next. Then Watford and Norwich. I can see a good run here! Top half here we come?
Lillehamring Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 cacn't believe it, the noble chinese web broadcast was almost flawless, then stupid phillips wireless deveice decided that 5 bars was not enough and refused to give me any internet with five minutes to, glad we won, but gutted to have missed the elation i would have gained from seeing a LATE WINNER!
Guest Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Bout time we had a bit of luck. Sounded like a dire game but a win's a win and that's all that matters
WetFlannel Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Am I starting the 'late play offs' thread or are there any takers?
MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Blackpool and Plymouth up next. Then Watford and Norwich. I can see a good run here! Top half here we come? Wouldn't have thought it would come to this, but now it seems like I'll be up for a special treat comes February (Plymouth and Watford)!!!
AoWW Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Wouldn't have thought it would come to this, but now it seems like I'll be up for a special treat comes February (Plymouth and Watford)!!! You're going to Watford too?
Corky Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 You think of the matches we have dominated and not won, now we have a bit of luck. We deserved it, and should have had TWO penalties. At least it shut up the commentators, who were banging on about Palace not conceding away for three years, us having 13 draws and 25 managers in the last year. Warnock- Sit down, shut up. We all dream of a team of Barry Hayles!!
purpleronnie Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Did you hear warncock whining after the match. The officials were crap etc etc... Change the record mate its really boring.
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Hahaha. Jammiest three points we'll ever earn. Bout time we had one of those, really.
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Did you hear warncock whining after the match. The officials were crap etc etc... Change the record mate its really boring. I'm not really Warnock's biggest fan. In fact, I don't really like the man at all. But in all fairness I think a lot of that was said fairly tongue in cheek tonight, I think you just have to "get" some of his humour at times.
mancunianfox Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 I was watching with fourteen Palace fans. I was the only city supporter. We had a good bit of banter going on and I couldn't help but celebrate bazza's goal like a world cup win! I don't think that they were too impressed... It was always going to be a gritty game but we were never out muscled and all of the lads fought really well for the win tonight. I was dissapointed that dj didn't slot that in but at the end end but I was proud of all of them tonight. We have now won two home games in a row, Holloway seems to have sorted out the defensive issues that he had and Alnwick hasn't conceded a goal in three games. I thought Clemence, Hayles and Kisnorbo were all excellent tonight. We ARE getting there. Soon it will be vertigo time!
LeeCovFox Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 I've got to say, this is he happiest I've felt after a win for a long. long time. Palace are a bloody good side, they we didn't allow them to trouble us, and now with better strikers to build on our already strong defence, I'm really confident of a top half finish. Looking at the fixtures up until Cardiff, who are in good form, I see a good run.
