How good is foxestalk

It's good but there is drawbacks..

Certain members take the piss regardless of what you say. Thracian & Ultra constantly have TPH and his bum crew looking to criticise their every post. It does get tireing after a while.

Theres a lot of good people on here who do have a bit of banter and a laugh and don't take things too far - and they are top blokes. Shame about the other w@nkers

Indeed.

WACCOE springs to mind - a bunch of fat, bald-headed imbeciles still going with the latest "You know how Blondes...?" jokes, calling each other by fanny names.

Then again, it's for Leeds Utd fans.

Oh, well.

WACCOE is awfull to navigate, mainly because they have one forum for general chat and Leeds United chat. The thread turnover is ridiculous.

Correct you are.

And WACCOE is still shit.

Well I have bothered to stay on here and read alot of crap for well over 2 years, and I nearly have 2000 posts so it must have something that makes me keep coming back!

The best thing for me is how tidy this site is. Dead easy to find what you're looking for. If people wanna see how it's not done, have a look on WACCOE. Total cluster**** of a site, a real shit-hole.

Just had a brief look at WACCOE and I have to say I wish we had a Hampshire Foxes thing. Then again we tried to do a South West Foxes thing and that fooked up royally lol.

Have to agree this site is awesome. I only started to post a few months ago but im now an addict.

I dont tend to post on every subject on all the different forums on this site like some contributors. I stick to LCFC subjects.

Its a great a site and the people behiend the scenes should be very proud of themselves and we are very lucky to have such a great site.

The only reason I dont tend to contribute much on the other forums is that being 34 years old I find a lot of stuff posted on here as immature and some people make comments without the relevent life experience. Therefore I find its better to say nothing then being shot down by a bunch of teenagers.

However, on the other hand there some really intelligent young people on here also with valid points.

A couple of moans though, I find this site is very clicky. Generally a lot of newbies often get shot down quite badley by some of the more experienced contributers/moderators quite harshley on some occasions which for a newbie can be a little sole destroying. It happened to me a lot at first and I found it a little hard to take especially from lads still doing there A'levels when I've being going to City since the 80's.

Overall this site is awesome, the majority of contributors/mods are very intelligent and the site is well structured. Its that good in fact im considering contributing some money per year for its up keep in the future. Well done guys long may it continue.

It is one of the most aesthetically pleasing forums that I have have seen on the web that's for sure.

agree with this, when i've seen other footy forums, like the sheffield united one I looked on the other day its shit, perhaps a little better than 606 but not a patch on FoxesTalk

I think the key to remember when people object to anything you post on here is that it is the internet and lots of people express there feelings in a much harsher way as words are all we have, no tone of voice or body language to explain ourselves... (More than 70% of comminication is usually done by body language, btw) Lets face it, face to face if you disagreed with some opinions that are shared on here you would most likely call someone a div, laugh and take another swig of your drink and be on to who you most fancy..

so, foxed off, i sympathise with you... been there.

Easily the best designed Leicester City site on the internet. some absolutely cracking lads ( and lasses) on here and i would love to meet up with some of you guys one day.. trouble is none of my friends come on here and im not the sort to just turn up to a pub on my own to meet a bunch of people i dont know...

wish i was.

How things change..

I've now reached the stage where I deeply miss TPH and eagerly await his return... :o I don't think Thracian would share that view though.

There are far worse people than him on here now, who have made the forum (or at least General Chat) even WORSE than Waccoe... :(

It's not just the political stuff. That thread on the "face of Kinder" was shocking, and should never have been alllowed to reach the number of pages it did..

As far as I am aware TPH and I get on fine. The last time we met we chatted perfectly amicably and I was happy to subscribe to his charity. I'll more than willingly do the same this year if our paths cross.

Foxes Talk is a great establishment, I have met friends for life on here and just great people in general. Mark is heroic for setting the whole thing up.

I've had my ups and downs with people, particularly in the early days, but everyone I've met in real life is pretty sound.

This site....?

Yeah, it's not too bad.... ;)

I like how there's a lack of squirrels on here and you are ok with rival fans (as long as the're house trained obviously)

Can't believe how long i've been on here now!

I've used quite a few forums in the past (this is the first and only football forum i've used) and foxestalk is in a league of its own.

Foxes Talk gets you addicted like a drug lol

Have to get my daily fix

First forum I signed up to and after seeing many others afterwards realised how good it was to most. On others you have a difficulty even finding your way round the site

Although i'm a bit guilty for not posting too much, Foxestalk is the first website i check & the only website i visit every day.

Couldn't of put it better myself.

The site is great, and after looking at some other football fans forums, Foxestalk is by far the best. ;)
