lildave3 Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 I'd be lost without this forum. And it'd more than likely be just me and LD3 travelling to away games on Fox Travel this season without it. Because I've met so many new people off of this forum, it's unbelivable. Got to thank Mark, he's the one that has kept it running since it's beginning. More than likely. I'd go as far as saying that most of my life would be different right now if it wasn't for this site. God that sounds sad
Samilktray Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 More than likely.I'd go as far as saying that most of my life would be different right now if it wasn't for this site. God that sounds sad How many forums have an ld3. Case closed
Daggers Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 And the weirdest thing of all is that I must have met about 50 people through this site and not one of them has been a twat. Everyone I have met from here have been great. The medium by which we communicate means that a load of the nuance of the post is often lost, and it is that misunderstanding that leads to the "conflict". It was great meeting new people on Saturday ~ we are all very lovely. Except Raj.

I say remains, I hadn't really thought about it until now. I say life's biggest wish, I mean I wouldn't mind it.
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 I'm on the Bloobirds official forum, and that's fooking diabolical.
Simi Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 To be honest, it's shit. Just to be serious for a minute. It is a great forum, one which I love being a part of. As Joe has mentioned I've met some fantastic people from the forum. They're so good I go to every game with them. Fantastic. I wouldn't of been to hardly any away games this year if it wasn't for them. Saturday was great as well, meeting the characters of Daggers and Raj amongst many others. Thanks obviously go to Mark.
MikeyT Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Its very good yes. I havent been on any other Leicester city forums so nothing to compare it with? Same here! But i think this is a really good site! Its good to chat to other City fans as none of my friends actually like football! They are all freaks!
James. Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 I think this place is f**king great. The 2 single best things about it are: 1. Learning loads. Whether it be about LCFC, music, politics, cheese on toast, religion, ankles, law, whatever. I really have learnt loads. 2. Meeting you lot. All of whom have been a pleasure to spend time with. For all the bitching and complaining on here, in my experience in real life we're a decent bunch. And it's always nice to know that however nasty things get we're all on the same side and always will be.
Dames Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 whatever floats your boat If you don't like it GTFO.
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 The OS' forum puts this too shame... Presumably irony?
Geo V Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 I only use the internet for the news and Sports updates so dont spend time on other sites but from bumping into this site since January its been great to hear from City fans from all over the world with there own view points, however demented Great site and we should all do what we can to help Mark and the others to keep it going so get your arses on that thread about winning a season ticket for a fiver!
Koke Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Great site and we should all do what we can to help Mark and the others to keep it going so get your arses on that thread about winning a season ticket for a fiver! You advertising whore.
Fox You Forest Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Some can be really pretty... Surely that needs some kind of Warning! before reading .
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Some can be really pretty... My eyes burned when this image was thrust upon me.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Yeah it is a great forum and i didn't think Aus leicester supportes exsited until i went to this site so where thinking of an Australian foxestalk game in a couple of months
Raj Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 The Foxestalk game on Saturday was a prime example of how everyone has come together a bit lately. And the weirdest thing of all is that I must have met about 50 people through this site and not one of them has been a twat. Oh shit, I forgot about Raj... Everyone I have met from here have been great.Except Raj. Raj is lovely. He gave me a lift. Saturday was great as well, meeting Raj.I wish i was a girl on saturday cos Raj would have got it! P.S This Forum keeps kids off the streets.(as well as older kids!) Imagine what havoc the likes of LilDave3,Ched and Mickey Ruddle would be doing if they didnt have this forum. It saving the Government millions on ASBO's!!!
Lillehamring Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Some can be really pretty... i believe the word is 'overkill' BTW - nice deletion of user name there - don't want to have the piss taken on two boards, eh but, just to add to what every one else has said, for us foxiles, this forum is the best way for us to enjoy the dry sarcastic leicester wit. to keep a bit of the place we grew up close to us, without the misfortune of having to visit the godforsaken rancid shithole dump of a City
Ric Flair Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Obviously the people who post on this forum are what makes it a great place, but I have the utmost respect for Mark who has set this up and kept it running. It's not easy to set up something like this, to attract members and then keep on attracting them. There are 2 other Leicester City forums that are very popular, so setting up a third and making it the best and the busiest of the 3, is testiment to what Mark has achieved. Very impressive, long may it continue.
